-
Where can I get the Tomei Poncams, what sort of price are they going for, and what would you expect a mechanic to charge to fit them? I asked Nengun mid last year after you personaly recommended me getting them after I queried you in a pm and he said he doesnt sell them.

R32 GT-R 305+rwkw (w/pics) ***SOLD***
MRK25T replied to bbenny's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Its not my opinion Nick, I know what has been done to the engine because I asked the workshop that built it. Bbenny isn't answering queries about his Dad's car as quick as I can. I'm only helping the guys out that have asked questions about the rebuild. -
I'd like a copy too please Mal

Any damage to your car when it hit the kitty litter down the back?

MRK25T replied to bbenny's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I have known the workshop that did the engine build for 2-3years now. I enquired about what was done to the engine and the builder said the pistons are standard. I also asked if the headgasket could be saved if I bought the car and wanted to put forged pistons in it. He told me it would be 50/50 chance so I factored into completing the build with purchasing a new gasket. I love the fact that it looks a real sleeper (if you can call a r32 gtr a sleeper). I've never been in the car but i've seen it when it made the 400hp+ reading on the dyno. -
A big thank you to Aaron and Pete for organising the day. Thank you to Dan for getting in my car and teaching me how to drift around that main corner. Surprisingly I wasn't shitting bricks in Dans car when he took me for a session around the course. He has his car on a lead drifting around that circuit which has left me wondering how the f&ck he does it. Another thank you to Carlo who also jumped in the car with me. Both guys made my day more enjoyable. I started as a nervous nelly going around only the main corner with a bit of tyre screech sh&t scared of writing off my car. I finished being less nervous, more controlled while at the same time getting the arse out slightly after my two friends helped me. I had a headache after lunch so didn't go back onto the course. I've been driving the porclin (sp) bus all night. Good to meet you Mal (he's a top bloke). I can't wait to see the Stagea once it arrives in Sydney. Thanks again to Carlo and slo200 (Daren) for the company back to the Northern beaches. My standouts for the day were Dan. Pete, the green drift car, the black r32, the maroon supra with black bonnet, slo200 , and the black r32 gtr with god only knows how much power - he had balls going around the circuit in the rain with that amount of power at his right foot. I've just been on the SkylinesNSW web page and "Will" has posted a link to his photos from the day at: http://www.driftr.com/driftday/

I'd have to agree with Blitz, he is very fussy when it comes to his car. Another fussy person I know is andrew. Ask these guys where they take their cars to.

Where in Sydney would you take your car/ or where would you recommend friend go for work on their cars?

Is that the one where you go up the stairs and sit in the back room? -
I haven't been to Joviant because they quoted me way too much to buy and fit a BOV. Another place is in Dee Why near Cromer High school called Procar. I've been there twice and on both occasions it was to tune my powerFC (they have a dyno).

How many places on the northern beaches have you taken your car to to come to that conclusion?
