    thermo's block flow to the radiator until the car warms up, then open to allow it to stay at that temp via radiator cooling. your car overheated cos the thermo was stuck closed causing it to be in the "warm up" stage until cooked.

    hit a MASSIVE puddle trying to avoid a taxi merging into my door on Vic pde. i think i got water into my intake. car almost stalled and kept threatening to stall if i went over 2.5k rpm in 3rd. stopped doing it by the time i got to toorak rd onramp to M1. should i be worried? what damage could it do? any water should have evaporated by now right?

    Tomek doesn't actually say that non vspecs didnt have brembos, just that vspecs did. easy way to solve your question is to get your chassis/vin number and run it through Nissan FAST. it a program that'll tell you what spec of car the vin matches, with all the options that were included etc

    car will tend to oversteer a lot more i'd imagine, being stiffer at the rear

    offset will change (for the better) as the midpoint of the wheel width will move outward roughly half of the increase in width overall while the hub stays stationary. brake clearance will stay the same
