  1. Hey man, Yeah still ticking along, still doesnt come out much. Got the kit fixed finally so looks alot better. How's yours doing? Yeah black car came up awesome we were blown away. Pass on the good words... Chat soon Matt
  2. Hi all, If anyone is interested, we are offering a special price for our Paint Corrections. Basically its about a 4-5 hour 7 step polishing technique to remove most scratches (within reason) buff marks, oxidation, spiderwebs and swirl mark, to make the car look show room finish. The polishes we use do NOT have fillers in them like most on the retail shelves. I have just done my skyline and are most impressed with the results. If you think your car is in need of a Correction, let me know via PM and we can go from there. Normally our prices start from $275 for skyline sized cars, but we can do much better. Here is a taste of what we did last weekend Before Sunlight in the other half of the bonnet NOT corrected, so you can see the difference Finished
  3. Get the engine warm, not hot. High pressure wash with a strong degreaser mix. Keep the car running. Once the car has dried. Get some CRC So Easy. Spray it under the bonnet (it will go white) once it dries, it will shine. Trust me. Easy as, Max time 30mins. Includes Drying time.
  4. Can i also point out, if you are doing a 'paint correction' as such. Before you start you must remove all your waxes that is on the car first. Use a dishwashing liquid of some sort that will revove all the wax prior to your clay bar. The preperation before your polishing is 95% of the finished product. If you dont clay the car correctly. Expect swirl marks. Another little trick is, get a plastic bag (coles/wollies etc) put your hand in the bag and rub over your paint work. If it feels gritty the car needs a clay. Trust me it works. Menzerna's range of polishes are fantastic polish. We did a detail today on a Black Honda Euro. The bonnet shots are two passes with a Rotary Polisher, you'll notice the difference in one side of the bonnet, we polished half the bonnet so you get the idea on a real 'Paint Correction'. Here are some happy snaps below Before: Sunlight in scratches Sunlight in polished part Close up Finished product Notice the skyline in the bumper Cheers Matt

  6. Alex, I think you'll find the little scratch marks are called spiderwebs. Well thats what we call it. It is caused from either the spounge or cloth you are using to clean the car. IMO your always gonna get them because water will never removed all the dirt before the wash. When we buff cars, we will clean the car first, leave the car wet and use a cutting compound to cut into the clear coat that will remove those so called marks. The we'll wash the car again, and there is a few different steps we will take to seal the polish and apply the wax. The wax will fill-in the swirl marks left by hand polishing or machine polishing. You will always get swirl mark no matter how you polish a car. Different products do different jobs. My advise would be to get a decent cut, to cut into the clear (no to heavy) then apply your final wax/swirl remover to finish. If your car is a dark colour the marks will stick out like dogs balls but thats just the way it is. I use a product from 'Autosmart' is not avalible on the retail shelves i dont think but if your up this way drop me a line and ill help u out. Cheers Matt

All i d did was went into the boot to change my flat tyre. Its a brand new battery 2 weeks ago... and i took it to the auto electrican dude and he said it could be a number of things.
