Noise When Rolling Backwards

I noticed the same thing today. If anyone can lend a clue it would be greatly appreciated -
I had the same problem with my r32 gtst. To fix it I made put the timing forward, the tiniest bit. and the problem was gone. I checked all my coils and plugs and they were fine so this was a last resort. It worked. *shrug* dont ask me why. hope this helps

Any ideas to why my speedo has stopped working in a R32 GTST?? Any help would be appreciated
