  2. hey all i remember i read somewhere or someone told me if u dont hook up a boss kit properly on a 32 with that hicas shit on the steering wheel, u loose power steering.. im 90% sure but i asked a mechanic and some mates n they reckon the boss kit has absolutely nothing to do with loosing power steering.. yes my p/s fluid is a little low, but seriously it went from full power steering - 5-10 mins installing the boss kit to NO powersteering.. theres no oil leaks on the ground or anything i cant explain it.. with the installation of the boss kit, i didnt bother connecting the red cable to the horn (and letting it touch some metal/nut) so my horn duznt work.. i had to get to work in 20 mins so i just left it out thinking 'meh who needs a horn for today' lol. could that be the problem? thanks in advance

  11. i agree with alot of things said here, if ur on a budget stick with rb23 + hks 2530 but rb25s can handle 300 at the wheel and box safely from what every1 on here is saying. how much can rb20s hold? im thinking about getting some aggressive cams at the same time as the power fc (if i can friggen find one for under 13000 =) i guess it all depends on ur driving style and needs, if u want ~200 at the wheel and use it alot of drift, just keep bouncing off that limiter and keep kicking the clutch and u will never need down low torque lol... plus rb20s go for like $700? while rb25s go for much much more. like i said, i was looking to sell my car n get a 4door, but i changed my mind n sticking to the 25 =)

Hey all Just bought these: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...0&hl=mirror Now, they are universal, so they dont have a cover thingy for where the exsisting mirror was, so im assuming i have to make a triangle thing? I was thinking a sheet of aliminuim and get rivot bolts holding it onto the door then bolt the mirror to the alim sheet? Or is there another way? Cheers
  16. dyno graph is in my for sale add yes a bit of lag, thats due to 2 things 1. stock dump/front/cat 2. no boost controler, straight off actuator. solution: gk teck dump + front + profec b 2 =) soon power fc aswell
  17. to be quiet honest if i end up selling this car, i might go for a 32 4 door shell n put in a rb25 again, the amount of tourque u get compared to the 20 is heaps good,
  18. well i often get pms from people who heard about my conversion and asking how i did it n how much ect so i searched to see whos been asking helping ppl out, is that a crime?
  19. will be very good make sure u bring a set of tyres, come 10-15 mins early becuase the cue at the servo is massive because we do need a full tank for fuel
  20. fkn oath best thing since sliced bread = ) go rb25 + box and trust me u will never look back i was selling my car but now i decided to keep it, i was asking 13k (which every1 who knows the car thought was too cheap) n every1 who didnt was being a tight ass, so f**k em, ima keep my car because only i need to know how much that car means to me. /end rant point being rb25 + r32 ftw ill take u for a spin if ya want
  21. dangerous driving is a min 6 months CANCELATION of licence which means if ur currently a p plater, u will go on the NEW p plater laws... no turbos, vtecs, v8s ect... trick with police i learnt (and u now did to) is ALWAYS state ur name and address (as required by law) followed by a simplle 'no comment' statement. like u said, if they didnt see anything, no witnesses, they have no grounds to prove u quilty of any offence. where as if u say "omg i was a dickhead, i was trying to do a burnout ect' ur pretty much f**ked =) gl with it all
  22. thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou x10 i cracked my first bov coz i tightened it to much (while some say coz they cant hold my 19psi boost spike, im pretty sure i was just a noob n tightended it way to much) n i found one the next day for $40... then i got over it so i took it off, sold it, and protek make a plate that blocked it off (u know, for the fluttzeZZzzZZ )im willing to swap the plates n everything else needed to block it off for a stock bov. reason? over the attention, plus cars running rich as it is, dont need it extra rich when i shift (constantly pops flames when i shift around 4k ) let me know if y'all wanna swap and geeze i didnt know 33 gtrs were so rare to, whats so good about them?
