Is this a big deal to do or is it pretty standard when fitting a fmic?

Would the front bar of a S1 R33 need altering to fit a 600x300x76 intercooler? $550 for a type 2 kit seems very reasonable, especially if the IC actually does a decent job. How much am I looking at for fitting? If I can get away without hacking up the front of the car then id be happy.

Hey guys, Im looking at starting mods to my 33GTST and im contemplating Turbo back exhaust, FMIC and boost controller. Was looking at Justjap's range, a Trust Intercooler kit is $1,299, where as a JJR Type 2 Intercooler kit is a mere $550. What are the main differences here? I dont really need anything super duper but I don't want to buy crap either. And I was also looking at the X-force stainless steel turbo back system. Anyone fitted that before? Sorry if this has been asked a billion times before (which im sure it has)

Hi guys. I have a couple issues with my 33, mainly if im creeping forward in traffic and jab it for a sec, when returning to idle it drops very low and nearly stalls, has actually stalled a couple times. Now when I got the car a month or so ago it had an Atmo BOV on it and I believe that is whats causing the issue here, inthat its dumping air that its already factored in to be fueled so it overfuels for a second, runs rich and nearly dies. I must say, I do like the psssh sound but. Anyway, im wondering if there are alternatives out there, or is it possible to adjust the BOV to not vent so easily, so its only blowing off under decent levels of presure? Or am Is my best bet to buy an aftermarket plumb back BOV and go without the Pssh. Or as another option is there a way to trick the ECU to stop this occuring? Advice is apreciated.

Yes R33. Is this something that would be cheap to get fixed by a mechanic? It doesn't sound like something I could do myself but is it a big deal to get fixed? Its really not THAT big a problem but if it got any worse (like speedo not reading above 60km/h) then it could be a bit of a hassale

At speeds below 60km/h the speedo sometimes doesn't work. If it does stop working, it starts again as soon as I go over 60-65, and doesn't necceserily stop again when i go below 60. Kinda odd. Anyway I was wondering if theres some cable thats loose that I can adjust without having to crack open the dial housing?

Hmm I have a similar problem (R33 gtst) Start the car, works fine, cold, idles at 1100 or so. Warm, will idle at 900 rpm no worries. However, if im crawling at an intersection or in heavy traffic, if I move forward, then to stop just put the clutch in and stop, the revs drop not to idle like they should but to very low, like 200-500 rpm, the engine shudders abit, then jumps back upto 900rpm idle and is fine. But it keeps threatning to stall everytime it does this?

Hey all, So yeah I got an R33 GTS-T this week, only today discovered the mirrors can fold in In my discovery of this, I also discovered another switch which i have NO idea what it does. Its to the left of the wheel and under. Switch has 2 positions, with a funny little picture on it. Any idea what it does? One more thing, is I cant for the life of me figure out how to make the rear wiper go. So yeah, a little help please?

Hey all, new to the forum so first post. Sorry to hijack a bit but didnt want to go creating a new thread. I also have just obtained an R33 and also just put in a tank of BP Ultimate. My question is, is the TERRIBLE fuel consumption im getting normal? I read on a link from these forums that it should get 9.8L per 100km. Well, I put in a full tank, set the tripmeter and it looks like ill get about 250km out of the tank (its nearly empty, filled it up tuesday) Just wondering, Is that normal? I mean I know I shouldn't expect great ecconomy from a v6 Turbo but 250km's according to my math is 26L/100km Wtf?
