Ok...so I didn't bother reading the 2nd page I think I will also have to give it a miss as my ride prob won't be able to make it to thornleigh till 10 and if it's an old road run there's no point in trying to catch ya's up there...which is a bummer as I have 3-4 cars with me and a vid cam...

I'll try and find the article I read last night in a magazine but basically it said that due to new emissions laws in Japan Nissan Skylines don't conform so not only did they stop production on the R34's but they are looking at stopping the whole line of skylines in the future

I'm still gathering info and we're chatting to the guy that own's the uk part of the club in the uk but it looks like it'll go ahead...but track days and stuff should be available to other clubs too

thing you guys are forgetting that when it comes to the track it's not always the most powerful car that will win...the 200hp thing is to just ween out stock, crap cars...

And it wasn't a club that was full of rich people...let's just say it was a club that is full of another certain model of jap cars that are pretty common here.. And when I say about NA power being better than Forced induction I say it to pull your leg mate... So please take a step back and have a deep breath mate... I'm not trying to start a fight here...

Thanks matey...but I remember clearly a solo-model car club that was at the Oran Park day when I was there and where the picture was taken actually...they looked down their noses at everybody else there because they thought they were better than everyone else...just because they thought they were king shit, all driving what they drive... I'm not saying a skyline club will be the same but it's just something that has stuck in my mind as it was wrong and it really got up my nose... (I'm keeping the clubs name out to avoid a slanging match)

closely knitted club depends on the owners personalities as supposed to the makes n models of the car...and if the people can't see past the model of their cars then that makes them narrow minded... Just an observation... but will keep ya posted...

yeah but this club doesn't exclude any make or model as long as they have the minimum power requirements...

It's a thought at the moment...it comes from a UK club called 200plus, myself and another member who recently moved to Auz are in talks with the owner about starting the Auz part of the club, using their name, stickers, etc... It's an excellent club in the UK and their mailing list is also top notch, lots of performance knowledge etc... I'm just getting feedback of people's thoughts and possible interest before putting in all the hard work and finding no-one's interested... There's an idea being thrown about for a new club...not a club that's centering around looks...but more performance...having regular track days, drag contests, 0-100's...etc... Wouldn't matter if your car's 20 years old...as long as she's got the power and you wanna use it on the track... The only requirement is to have a rating of at least 200hp at the fly... That's the idea...thoughts?

Yeah...since she's been in auz I've had one problem after another...at least each time she comes out faster n better so hopefully it'll all end soon...hopefully before I run outta cash! But thanx mate...I'm sure I'll have her back soon and then we'll go for a strap :twisted:

I will, gladly...but unfortunately last night my clutch and 3rd gear had a fight and the button clutch won and 3rd is lying in pieces all over the bottom of my gearbox So am trying to work out whether to fix the current F20 gearbox or move up to the calibra F28 6-speed gearbox which is much stronger and has the same gearing just with an extra gear... Time to throw more money down that bottomless pit

Due to 3rd gear deciding it didn't like sitting where she should be, I need a new gearbox so I'm after a F28 6 speed gearbox (calibra)...please contact me asap if you know of any going or any places to try Thanks, Andy GSI[/size:994656913b][/color:994656913b]

Thanks geez, she's not finished yet tho...after the tune, rego n bodywork repair there's quad throttlebodidies & lsd in store for her then I'll look at my next move...but tractions already a major problem and I'm running larger, better tyres on the front just to try n grab...at some point soon I'll take her to the creek but I'm expecting 4.9 secs for 0-100 and low 13's for the 1/4...
