yea i did some kind of setting that made it do that pssh noise after the wistle. sounds crap. can u tell me which way the screw is meant to be turned for hard and soft? cos its really kinda confusing. oh but. today i snapped the bolt. =( anyone kno is u can just remove it and put in a new one?

hey fellas, does anybody kno how to set the ssqv hard n soft settings? cos there was heaps of hissin noise under d bonnet n thought it was set too soft ppl say vacuum leak or sumthing, so thought i'd give it a go. now its gettin really confusing and i can't even get it to sound like it did be4. i turn the screw clockwise go for a drive thinking its harder setting, then go back turn it the other way, and i can't tell the difference!!!! now its just a flutter then the whistle then the normal pssht sound. can someone tell me roughly which way and how much to turn to get it so it doesn't leak under vacuum and have dat long loud whitle metallic sound back? thanks lot man.

yea, gearbox gettin put in today & tomorrow. we found out aftermarket gear set was 5K, forgot which brand. but yea found a 2nd hand box for $1k..... just wondering what happens when a gear box goes for a rebuild? coz the guy who is puttin it in for him said something like, it can't be repair or something. maybe he was talkin about the GTiR boxes or someshit i dunno... so yea, how do ppl usually rebuild them coz i've heard of ppl gettin thier boxes strengthend n stuff.

Hey how u guyz doing? Last nite my freind busted 2nd gear. Its a GTi-R n was wondering if anyone could help with any info about the options he has. We haven't taken it anywhere to get it pulled out yet, coz well todays sunday and and it was only last night that it happened. But as we were driving home, 1st gear couldn't go in coz the shifter just wouldn't move left. but it did later, and of coz 2nd wasnt there. So what are his options and the price for parts + labour for each option? we were thinkin of repair and strenghten, 2nd hand aftermarket, or just a 2nd hand factory box then take it easy from then on. Any help would be great. Thanks

yea i mean there was some Apexi turbo at the bottom of that page for a sr20, they reckon only 2000km's. and it was $1450 just say u wanted to buy one from that place, think its in perth. and if u were in another state, how do u get it tested? or would they usually provide warranty?

yeah...i have one...but wires weren't jioned... when they were...it doens't even work... why is it that there are switches but the wires aren't joined?
