Well it is confirmed that mr and mrs thrila will be there... Brad can you PM your bank details so I can send some dosh your way?
-
as tempting as that sounds... I'll pass... on the shoulder anyway, still might be coming so practise everyone!
-
my bad... didn't even look at the pics. Maybe call prestige motorsport and ask if they have any vin/chasis numbers of any R32 N1's they have brought in. I am sure that they will have imported a few in their time. From there you can get part details from nissan.

Hi Brendan, I have been following silbeer... looking sweet mate. My previous post had a link on it for a R33 N1 (I think it was previously owned by Paul Rogers of the Wildcats!)... just click on the part the has "here" and is underlined... should take you to the carsales website and from there you should be able to contact the owner. Scotty

Me and the missus might be going water skiing that weekend if the weather is good and the boat owners are heading out... so we have to keep the golf game as a maybe. I can't pass up another opportunity to dislocate my shoulder!

i might be wrong, but it was my understanding that "genuine" N1 R32 GTR's didn't have ABS??? I am not sure about the R33's but I am 95% sure about the R32's. The N1 spec was chopped of ABS, Air-con, Stereo, Rear windscreen wiper all in order to reduce weight... I am sure they also came with a slightly different tuned ecu. There was a R33 N1 for sale not so long ago here, maybe give this guy a call to check out the difference? If you can get the vin/chasis numbers from this car you might be able to get parts details from nissan?

There's my slug! Thanks for posting the photos Kylie! Hey does anyone know what the deal is with taking a passenger down for a run?
-
Kat, you seemed to turn the tyres very easy... not much grip? I can't find a photo of my car anywhere... that will teach me to check the batteries before I leave.
-
It has been tuned by a new workshop called "YOGA"... he was simply trialing out "salute to the sun" (a yoga position), and since the sun was setting he had to slide it to the west.......... what a dedicated student.
-
yeh I saw it as he was collecting the time slip... wasn't it a fresh engine? can't be happy about having to yank it out again! So what were the other GTR times for the night... who had the fastest time from our lane???
-
Don't quote me, but I am sure there was some unwelcome smoke from the exhaust.
-
see... persistance pays off
-
love the indicators Mikey... with both on you can't turn left or right... teach Paul
-
my fastest for the night was ET - 12.285 Terminal - 111.94mph Reaction - 0.690 60' - 2.034 was a little higher boost than my street setting (ran it at 1.1bar) I considered it a win for the night as it was a good virgin run for the R and I didn't break anything! With some quick times posted and I think we surprised some of the trev's. Good turn out and variety of cars... Paul really put the "turn" in "turn out"... tonight I pray that someone has that on film!

Events wise - there is a MaxAuto Action on Sunday March 25th so if you are planning supa golf for the weekend of the 24th/25th... Donna and I would be in for the Saturday for 9 or 18 holes. If you can confirm this date I will drop you the dosh... if you can catch me Mr. Speed-cut!
-
ring nissan with all the car details you can muster... vin, chassis, engine.. anything off the build plate... they should be able to look through their database at your cars details, chase up the key barrel code and then cut a key to suit. Call my bro at Northsidae Nissan (Adam in the parts department).
-
lol, you probably will... I have only been once and that was my bucks night morning and was already on the piss! I wont be any good FOUR!!!
-
Since it's close to our place Brad it sounds like a great idea!!! I wouldn't call it stepping on anyones toes, but as far as I know its Liz, Dan or Lauren who would organise something like this... maybe now the idea is in the open, one of them will run with it. Count me in (date pending)
-
Well I send an appology your way... just haven't seen a positive post from you... I guess I should look harder next time... peace p.s. I have my rags so please excuse the grumpiness!!!
-
man have you ever got anything nice to say about people? I was racing on Sunday and saw Julian handle a tug boat like VN like it was a jetboat... if it stepped out, he corrected, he might have been one of the slowest there (if not the slowest) but as Norbert said, a very exciting driver to watch, and for the record it was a fine sunny day and he was always insight . If you think you can do any better in what ever it is you drive, come down and show "the world" as you put it... also if nobody is willing to let him drive their car to show his skills... I'll let him lap my GTR next time... Norbert, maybe you could let him lap in his VN and then straight away jump into the GTR to see how much his car is holding him back? bullbars rule
-
will be there to break the R's hymen..... hopefully that is the only thing I break
-
this seems to be happening more often... don't people alarm their cars anymore? Maybe a phone number should be posted... if I see this car out I would be sure to follow it until it stopped, would love to call Garath to let him know I was tailing the prick who made a big mistake... civil arrest alright, rodney king style

This is nothing to do with cars, but I'd like an outside opinion, especially if you have the same/similar problem... and if you have had anything done to it. Well a weekend of skiing was trashed in one foul swoop... again my shoulder has dislocated (happens a few times a year) and has left me contemplating the rebuild! Cheers Scotty sorry people... 1st time listing a poll and wouldn't ya know, I stuff it up. forget the poll, just let me know what you think I should do
-
I had a very small camera (no tape or dvd, just memory card) mounted on a tripod, and the tripod was secured with the rear seatbelts... very secure and looked like a mini rollcage!!! But as Norbert says it's the scrutineers call and I was prepaird to remove it if they said "nup"... just my luck they gave it the "yup"!!! Problem I have now is whether to enter in this Sunday's event cos I dislocated my right shoulder on the weekend while skiing, and it's failry tender. My "normal" driving is ok but not sure if I should risk the event on a 50/50 shoulder? Anyone going to twist my arm into it (only the left please)?

Airconditioner Repairers For R32 Gtr's In Perth?
GODTHRILA replied to Scratch's topic in Western Australia
Well since the thread is back from the grave... I think it is more to do with shipping dangerous goods... the gas is flamable, compressed and can cause an explosion if damaged so they de-gass it so it's no longer dangerous and it will then pass customs. I know when I export anything I have to sign to say there are no dangerous goods inside, and if there are any gas products I need to specify the details.
