  1. Ive spent a fair bit of time on those photos and re-reading the comments and all i can observe from the photos the "twin turbo" badge has left a imprint on the bonnets underlayer/heat protection "I've previously said i'd modded the engine mounts to lower the car ~3mm clearance from the cross member Marko" "Sump is standard depth, much bigger though, 8 litres" Is car meant to be engine? I was going to say the bracings been cut and just covered up and the twin turbo badge pressed against it However i cant see the cam cover making an imprint, that combined with droppin the engine a few MM from the engine mounts make enough clearance? other then that im out too

  3. Different market over in Brisbane compared to Perth/WA however it does look like one tidy GTR Price seems reasonable and why does RWC cost 2k?
  4. as long as its not a atmo bov its fine (also not excessively loud) and pods are fine if there secured
  5. Roughly 16k IMO for a stockish aged 32 R
  6. Theres never a good place to crash at high speeds, chances are your dead on impact and the only place your going to go is the mortuary RIP to the driver
  7. What Specs are the standard rb26 cams?
  8. for the $200 it cost you mught as well replace it, its just a restriction which will restrict the turbos ability to make the power it should
  9. oh in that case then ill hack away, add a turbo beanie to protect the paint too
  10. Im not to concerned with the "look" but more so for insurance purposes. I was under the impression you didnt cut your bonnet once you shaved your twin turbo badge, i guess swapping to -10s are also a no go now lol
  11. Cheers for that Marko, guess i have to find another way to make it fit sorry for hi-jacking your thread Simonster
  12. If i drop the xmember 15mms and do you think i could fit this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/r32...at/DSC01070.jpg hi-mount turbo without affecting the suspension/awd? (HKS kit which currently needs the bonnet frame hacked to clear) Same turbo kit as this car
  13. Get an oil test done and you should get high PQ levels which would indicate ferrous material in the oil other than bearings. Obviously high levels of copper and lead will indicate bearing failure as a result of this. Wear Check Australia are the people to call for the test kits, cost about $35-40 and takes a few days to get the results. Don't dump the oil out of it until the test sample is taken Quote taken from another member under the FI sub-forum
  14. drop the oil and get it analysed? because if it is the big end, spending 1k to service it now is a waste
  15. 32 GTR rims shouldnt cause to much hassle I had 18" rims engineered for my supra before (forgot width) along with a Hi-Mount Greddy T78 kit
  16. Quiet a few 34s look great with the GTR front as with R32s Dont see many being done on 33s, Do it if it pleases you
  17. Welshpool tech section will have a list of the engineers Did they ask you to get an emmisions test? or does that only apply for aftermarket turbos/ecus?
  18. rb20 is top feed rb25 is side feed i believe
  19. Sorry to bring back an old thread but after reading the UK forums i reliased my T51r kit wont fit without hacking the bonnet frame (32 GTR) How bad can the idea of spacing out the cross member be? Its a street car (living 90% of its time in the garage) with the odd race down the strip Would spacing it out noticiably affect the handling? or is this refering more to a track car issue where every second counts? After finally registering the car with the engine i'd prefer to keep it all legal/engineered Thanks guys
  20. You dont recommend changing cams? are the 270s to big? How are your 270s with the -10s in terms of driverbility/boost Thanks
  21. Pretty sure there are some mobile regasers that usually do them for a cheaper rate then a workshop
