  2. but on that note any skyline (na or turbo) is hard to sell, unless you reduce it to a stupidly low price im with Rhys on this, if your not to fussed about the sale time frame just hold onto it until someone comes along people who buy these cars are either wankers making a statement or enthusiastic person who wants a different/unique ride
  3. you might need a tune once you up the boost with the fmic and dump would the stock ecu hit R&R?

Hey mate, sorry to hear but some of the stuff sounds bullshit, i think he just wants extra stuff fixed while your paying New bumper (just touching the surface) New front bumper reinforcement (getting deeper.......) Radiator Support panel (this is the piece the radiator, headlights, etc bolt onto...) really need a decent effort to push that back New engine cross member (lol need a F*CKING decent hit to screw one of these over) but being his car i think he has the right to choose the prefered repairer? go to some smaller pannel beaters and get a cash quote those are generally the cheapest because if they quote it like insurance work all new parts etc your gonna end up paying bulk...

  6. are you refering to the oil leak @ the back of the engine? if so, just clean it up..... very common on rbs and the leak is fark all
  7. yeh i think hi-flows are closer to teh 2k mark HKS bolt ons ftw and your stock turbo should make between 260-280rwhp
  8. t28 on a t3 manifold on the RB? get the GT-RS next thing holding you back would be injectors and maybe clutch when thats done, smash in more boost on the RS another thing is.... 180 is a couple hundred kg lighter so you will need more power then him
  9. GTR and VL are completely different cars the SOHC will not rev as well as the DOHC yes theres some seriously fast SOHC vls going around but if your going to put it into a GTR, u want the better head + stick with the standard loom cost less, works better = win?

  15. 139.5rwkw is 186.93rwhp not bad really....... throw on a fmic and get a safc2 piggy back ecu if your on a budget or get a full ecu, will see alot more power and 1 bar of boost is 14.7 psi example my car went from 90rwhp to 245rwhp with just a tune

  17. 32 GTR but be prepared for high maintainence lol and maybe a rebuild
  18. CRD have them for $2490 a pair (-5) a new pair of -5 is only $2545 + delivery or same pricing for -7 from Sliding performance

  20. 10k is still a fairly basic rebuild (rb26) last time i got quoted 5k for machine work, labour and R&R still be using a N1 oil pump ~$500 these days i do agree to build a car for whatever goal you set out to be no point overkilling it but if he wanted 400hp wouldnt a set of -7 be better? more responsive so to speak
  21. but if your paying for a rebuild machine work and labour is half the cost already do it once do it right if on the other hand you can do it urself then i guess on the cheap is viable as u dont have to pay for labour when/if it blows up thats how i see it anyway

His being a 93 model GTR i assume has a wide crank drive already most engines this age are getting old and i wouldnt want to lose a 10k engine over a tensioner bearing or bolt etc but in saying that even a pair of -5 produces close to 500awhp then you have to lengthen the front pipe to accomadate the extra block height etc lil stuff adds up
  23. well awd adaptor plate is $900 + labour + retap block for rb26 arp headstuds another $500 + labour + timing belt/tensioner kit $300 + labour + crank collar $150 + labour (going by pro engines pricing) and any other nitty gritty things that you may need to fit a rb30 bottom end into a GTR
  24. any links to any rb20s that run 600hp on a standard bottom end? day in day out for more then 6 months?
  25. one that will need a rebuild in 2 months time? the history repeats itself lol
