  1. standard rb26 3k + 1-2k remove and refit rebuild 26 5k R&R + machine work/light headwork + parts 4k depending how far 30 bottom end conversion a 2k more then the rb26 in parts
  2. wait what? should we all change to rb20's then? handle 600hp as in 1 dyno run?
  3. how much hp do u want? theres only so much boost a turbo can flow rest of the components will determine how much hp the engine can handle

  10. rang PPG about servicing they said can range from 10,000kms to 40,000kms really depends on the driver
  11. rock up and get it inspected everything legal as usual, plumb back, self arming immobiliser etc inspector will tell you if you need to get it tested for or apply for mod application fill in a huge stack of papers from the tech department (welshpool) wait a few weeks for a reply etc fill in the WA rego papers for ownership transfer ps this topic has definately been covered several times
  12. surely his extra 2 mins of idle (2 after driving) wouldnt be that bad? and isnt most damage done to engines when you first start it anyway?

  14. your car gets hot just idleing? i dare say keeping it running > on and off all the time
  15. until it dies depends how its been looked after better = longer no real number, lots of taxis run around with 600,000kms+ but they leave there cars on all the time and service very often

  18. i agree buying a worked example is better then a stocker will save you thousands in the end i mean all mods are very similar in the train of thought more boost rebuild more boost and more boost if spending 2x as much money is truely your car then i hope you have deep pockets
  19. 2nd Autoworx nice examples if you buy over east factor in pits, transport, wa rego, etc and someone to inspect it over there
  20. really comes down to the inspector you get some say you need a engineering cert some arent fazed ive passed with a high mounted Supra before but i had engineering cert and the inspector really just have it a quick once over Bubba's also had success passing with his rb30 in his r32 (but that as on a standard setup) best thing is just pay the $83 and see what they want you to change

  24. Theres a 32 GTR gazza750 i think username is running the stock boost controller/solinoid and its running fine
