  1. i dun think its possible to rebuild an engine for 4k.... machine work alone is 2k assuming you can assemble it yourself + install it gasket kit is 500+ piston and rods 2k~ oil pump 500-1.5k timing belt 100 bearings 200-300 thats the bare minimum, id say its fare to guess its a 2nd hand motor
  2. is this your manual or auto box farkin up? btw 4k for a 2nd hand rb25 is pretty expensive...... KYP sells them for 1700 + 1k to install who tuned the car, what boost controller are you using @_@ if you can afford to get another motor........ else get a bunky in the mean time and save up for a motor/half cut? which mechanic did you use.... any warranty?

R32 GTST 9-12k R33 GTST 10-14k R34 GT-T 23-25k 34 more torquey engine compared to the 33 stronger gearbox again larger rear turbo housing then the 33 turbo (same as a 33 turbo compressor side but with a vg30 rear housing stamped as OP6) slightly more top end power R34 is awesome but for money you cant go past a 33 bang for buck

Ive also had both r33 and R32 GTST varients exterior can come down to personal choice but interior the 33 is light years ahead bolt on some mods and the rb20 will be left behind the 33 gearbox will also handle much more abuse then a r32 gearbox another thing is stock vs stock r32 runs 10psi r33 runs 7psi?
  6. People who heavily modify there car like bubba i give respect but were talkin 33 vs 32 without any drastic changes (eg engine conversions) so yes 33 > 32 no debate! and.... 32 isnt hawt either, old interior, ghey ass bonnet bend (unless GTR) not to mention piss weak

  11. depends what ecu you have.... different tuners prefer different ecus although most would be able to tune most brands
  12. i dont think 5k is cheap to assemble and install an engine into a car a couple of engine builders have quoted me 1k~ to assemble the engine so thats 4k to put it in? a normal workshop rate is $90 an hour thats 44.4 hours i highly doubt it would take 5 working days to fit an engine in
  13. Seriously Supras are the damn whale makes 33s feel small and nimble in comparison who the hell made that up?! btw unless Nissan farked up, 33 > 32 ! and stick with your rb20/weak box

  21. i believe 33 turbo is also a direct bolt on would cost like $250-300 and make more hp expect to pay 1k-1.5k for a hi-flow job which prolly isnt worth it on a 32 not sure what it involves though

  23. thats 10k in parts not even labour yet sell 32 get an 33 and save yourself 4k? inlet manifold would also require custom pipe work more $$ there nothing wrong with the stock one unless your going berserk how much hp can stock injectors on a rb25 flow? mmmmmmm would be awesome even without awd definately a good idea for a unique car me thinkz

  25. lol coz 1 it wont work with awd and 2 it cost waaaaaaaay to much and i think the ls1 is a better engine? wont be a 9 sec car without spending 100k son 11s or 12s is prolly more realistic if you can get the power down ps you will need to take into consideration supporting mods when doing a hi-po rb30 rebuild eg, injectors 700-800 clutch 1k ecu 2k diff 1.5k rb25 gearbox as your 20 will just do a round the world with the 30s torque 1.5k and the initial engine rebuild 8k~ varies alot pending parts
