havent heard or seen much about acl pistons or headgaskets bearing wise there as good as you will get how much more is it for CP pistons + cosmetic gasket? those are more commonly used

i went from a 3L NA to 3L turbo (2j) they didnt pay any attention to the high mount and just took the engine number and engineering cert i know yours is a 50% increase but as long as they sign it off i dont think it matters much which way goes first other thing is, if you want to save money pass with the rb25 or 30 then legalise it when u get a yellow? (if ever)

yeh fair few machine shops would be able to machine/build it but u still need a workshop to wack on the turbo (if u cant do it urself) ummm u can source it WAAAAAY cheaper if thats w.o labour check our CRD's package in the sponsor section they have a nice deal goin on

breakdown of the parts? and there individual cost? labour sounds right, does it include cams? and i dont think the rb25 pistons would fit a rb25/30 and im sure spools rods r cheapest forged items you will find $645 a set be fare to say once u get a new turbo, manifold, engine rebuild, ecu and tune you wont get much change out of 10k

you may want to look at strengthenin the auto box or a shift kit you building it yourself? or is a workshop/machine shop assembling it? id imagine they can just do it without the actual pistons and just the sizes build a rb25/30 torqe ftw! spoolimports.com has a fair few piston/rod packages and Sydneykid has used them pumping 500rwhp+ and still running

thats between only 330-380hp anything rebuild worth its money would easily handle that how about just change the exhaust manifold (top or low of your choice) bigger turbo, cams, and a full ecu? then when the engine blows.... then rebuild it?

how much do u want build? just forged pistons and rods or... new crank? water pump oil pump timing belt gasket kit valves valve springs port n polishing arp head/main studs cams cam gears bearings thats just starters then u need the turbo, manifold(s), ecu, injectors, fmic, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg, exhaust now a tune and add LABOUR which is $80-90 an hour for a workshop these days it depends how far you want to go but an extensive rebuild say to rev higher, will cost bulk compared to a basic bottom end rebuild

cheaper to engineer all at once though

engineers cert will solve all your problems even a high mount and external gate

Call DPI mate its either 20 or 25% cc up from stock if its 25 then you only need to fill out a form other wise u may need to get it engineered call up and see what the latest laws are in reguards to it

if kyp cant supply you with it call other wreckers..... but dont expect it to be any cheaper lol other option is look through forums/quokka on a wrecked skyline that someones partin out
