  1. rb25 front cut for 3.5/4k will give you all teh parts you need buy a r34 turbo $450~ high flow 1.5k~ will support your power goals ez and it will bolt right up to the 25 engine a cheaper KKR 480 will also net you your power goals $800? i think but you will need a custom dump $170 or $2.2k for a GT-RS also a bolt on affair but more pricey with a bonus HKS badge These are the best "bolt on" options.. without changing manifolds/water/oil lines etc your power goals only 350rwhp thats a overkill for a forged engine save your money and if the 25 pops then think about rebuilding or if you have to much money go the GT35r + RB30DET will be enuff to scare a dead man also take into consideration tractions
  2. from the dealer you bought from it seems R33 S2 range from 16-19k pending specs wouldnt it be cheaper to buy one locally? example Car 16k transport 1k immoboliser $150 6 months WA rego $250 stamp duty $600~ other small fees like temp permit $14.50 pit inspection fees $65.50 thats another 2k ontop of the initial purchase price plus u can inspect local cars and test drive it anyways even a highly modified car can pass pits as long as its all legal and secured eg everything is fitted and plumb back and no atmo shit like wastegate/bov/screamer pipes
  3. Try autoworx mate! prices are better to be honest, eg a SEVS R32 GTST manual at autworx is priced the same as a 15 year import at autojapan.... Thats 3k compliance compared to 1k, newer and non-accident examples with 3 year warranty (have a look at www.autoworx.com.au), been to both and autoworx has much cleaner examples plus pauls very friendly and helpful might be a longer drive but if i was spending 15k on something 30 mins is nothing!
  4. Another vote for Autoworx, Pauls a top bloke! neg for down under autos thats just around the corner they talk a heap of shit about my cars condition when i bought from someone else Autoworx is also cheaper though there yard doesnt look as flashy!
  5. Ahhh Thanks for the reply mate i guess ill have to get it off ebay
  6. would this boost controller hold 18psi? or am i kidding myself to find a manual boost controller to reliably hold that much boost
  7. S13's and some 180sx are around the 10k mark depending on mods R32s tend to be a tad higher normally 33 would be hard to find in that price range especially manual turbos with low kms Check SilviaWA Carsales Forums
  8. i remember too! been quiet a few years since studying there haha rushing out half way through class and changing to a different bay
  9. i dont see a compliance plate on in the engine bay?
  10. i dont think any 1996 model were s1........ 93-94 = s1 95 = "1.5" or that m spec thingy looked much better 96-08 = s2 pretty sure my 96 33 was feb 96? and it was a s2 anyway do it !!!!!!!!! s2 looks way better but pannel parts become alot more expensive compared to s1 lol
  11. full comp aint bad at all with just cars 1200 + 1800 excess for a 19 year old r33 gtst
  12. doubt it will make a huge difference as the new GTR is gonna be 150k when it comes out? or whatever price tag it has, it will be waaaaaaaaaaay more then what the commoner can afford but yes strong aussie dollar is buying nearly 100 yet !
  13. yep reckless and dangerous driving is 6 months suspension fines can go up to 2k + court fees 2 weeks to process all that is pretty damn quick, usually takes 2-3 months to get to court Good luck mate
  14. thank f**k i live in east perth and have secure parking but public transport sucks, waiting for the bus/train... and the $$ isnt exactly cheap and at night you get all these drunks/weirdos drinking on the bus id much rather drive btw is the royal street and plain street carpark the one across from the WACA?
  15. auto or manual
  16. 200 BHP @ rear wheels? bhp is @ engine the 33 cme with 240bhp
  17. i asked for johns motor trimmers in bentley and they quoted 4k for a leather retrim front and rears and door trimms
  18. 250rWkW = 325rw @ engine = 250 * 1.3 = engine power kw @ engine is same as hp @ wheels 300rwkw = 390rwhp or 390kw @ engine 330rwkw = 430rwhp or 430kw @ engine this would be a more realistic percentage loss through the drive train and may god blow up all over reading dynos ps these are rough calculations, if you want exact get it on a dyno
  19. If you just want 200rwkw or 260rwhp approx the stock turbo on .8 bar should net your power goals (pending on tune) front mount intercooler (a generic one from justjap will do the job as china copies are proven to handle 500hp) $345 with piping Apexi SAFC for about $250 (used) on ebay or the new Apexi NEO for $400(new) on ebay (most shops would charge around $550 figure) allow it 200-300$ to install and tune a bosh, walbro or gtr fuel pump will do (not nessesary but for peace of mind if you like) a good clutch and tyres would do wonders for drag times stock turbo would be good for 260-280rwhp anything more then your just lucky or someones telling bullocks when the time comes for more power your gonna need either a direct fit turbo on the stock manifold or a SS manifold (not that expensive these days 500$ give or take) plenty of cheap upgrades around from JustJap and KKR ($500) type turbos to HKS/Garret even a garret turbo would be around $1500 do dont bother spending 1k hi-flowing your stock turbo afm, injectors, cams, full ecu will all depend on HP levels engine should be good for 350rwhp on stock internals if serviced regularly, i know alot of people have milked 400+ out of the good old RB's but how many genuinely last long on high boost and regular thrashing?
  20. did you buy the car though an inspection report or just as is according to the advertisment is the solicitors getting a case together? or have you dropped that
