Thx for the info, sounds almost exactly like my problem, ie feels like reverse isn't even there, ie like a 5th to reverse lock out. Will way up my options.

5th gear is fine, as is every other gear, no probs selecting them, reverse does not want to go in at all. Like it wasn't there, it does have a hks short shifter.

Just appear to have lost reverse in my car, does anyone know of a good reliable shop to take it to? The gbox has an aftermarket gearset in it, so would want to take it somewhere that knows there way around them. Alternatively if anyone has any advice etc on what it might be that'd be good to. Car just doesn't select reverse anymore. Every other gear is fine, 5th does crunch on quick changes but that's about it.

Ok. I just lost reverse gear on my car (1990 gts4, rb25 motor). Had a search couldn't find anything. Reverse out of the garage fine, then couldn't get it in at the mall. Which made stuff interesting. Was just thinking is there a register on here of all the 4 door owners? Would be good if we could learn a bit more about the 4 door owners here. Since I'm in canberra and I only know of about 4 or 5 other 4 door owners here. Some details on my car. CeJay - 1990 R32 GTS4 4 door, Bayside Blue in Canberra.

Ok I have some coupe seats I need to get rid of, I was going to fit them in my car, but they don't fit without modification, and I don't think I'll be doing anything with them for a while, they have some sun fade on the top, but apart from that aren't too bad. Selling them for 50$, what I payed for them. Local pickup only, thats why I'm posting them here. Also if anyone wants a crappy kenwood japanese spec narrow band deck, that's going for free, no use to me, not likely anyone here will want it, but anyway. Free to anyone who wants it.

Ok I have a turboed rb25de in my r32, had a look at the local shop and the det is supposed to take the ryco z387 fuel filter, just wondering and this question may be stupid, but are there any other more free flowing fuel filters I can put in my car instead? Just wondering as well if my car should have a different fuel filter as well, since it's a r32 gts4? thx

Yup was a good day, The Just Jap 31 was nuts, and the primered corolla was good as well, was getting a bit cold at the end. No pics didn't come out to well, so won't bother posting most of em, think it's new camera time.

I have these on either side of my car, anyone able to tell me what it is? And apart from stiffening up the car, why would they have been put on in japan?

H'mm that sux, I managed to run over a branch fallen on the road, in the downpour, managed to get stuck in the underbody and make a damn awful sound as well. Don't think anythings damaged but will need to check tomorrow.
