  1. Just thought I would post in this thread, since it is sort of relevant to my question. Just had my gearbox rebuilt, standard internals. Bought the car with a hks short shifter in it already. I noticed the box is smoother now after the rebuild but still a bit harder to change gears compared to a standard shifter. Would this be due to the short shifter? Or a problem with the box? Just wondered if anyone noticed an increase in notchyness etc when they went from a standard shifter to a short shifter?
  2. Not that I can tell, just seems to be a background whine which I assume is the tailshaft. Delivery is smooth and nothing that feels like a vibration. Didn't know you needed to rebalance it, would every 2 or 3 years do? Would of been good if UAS had told me that.
  3. Had the car a few days so far. Apart from some tailshaft background noise car seems to be running nicely and the nvh isn't bad. Happy with the tailshaft so far.
  4. You got your skyline back didnt you?
  5. Yeah saw you a bit late, didn't notice you till you were half way thru the intersection.
  6. I suppose if you use that calculation that would put mine in the good category.
  7. I agree with what he said, define "big"
  8. We could always do a 2 for 1 deal, buy 6 injectors get 6 free only 200$ lol, no worries. Your post just reminded I should bump mine.
  9. Well have the car back now, and overall happy. A few things though, be prepared for a few weeks without the car just incase. Due to the wrong parts being delivered twice by nissan, my job took 2 and a half weeks. Box overall feels nice and smooth, does feel a bit different to shift than other r32 boxes ive tried. I think this might be due to the hks short shifter in the car, would be interested in seeing what another box with a short shifter feels like. Finally got rid of my bearing noise as well. p.s don't let your transfer case run out of oil lol, thats what happened to mine, i feel retarded.

  11. bump injectors 100$ seats 50$ coilpacks 100$
  12. don't know much about the rb26 myself, but I would say having a look at the rb26 turbo upgrade thread would be a good first step http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...yno-t93880.html
  13. Would if I could, but have no car atm, and have something on sunday. gl with it though.
  14. If you interested in getting a rebuild talk to award diff and gearbox in Seven hills (sydney) just dont ever ever trust nissan spare parts when ordering shit though.
  15. have you done anything to the car recently?, btw welcome to the forums, is it a 2 dr or 4 dr btw?
  16. I spotted your problem you have a Garmin, get a Tom Tom.
  17. Cars stuck in sydney at the moment so not much point, it's already made up and ready to go on the car. Would of had a talk to him if I had the car here.
  18. 1 week job turns into 3 weeks of bullshit due to nissan spare parts retardedness. My advice if you deal with any major parts with nissan triple check the part numbers and double check it fits. Not the shops fault, just have a very low opinion of nissan japan now.
  19. Ended up going a UAS one piece, will see how it goes when I get the car back...
  20. if only you were a bit closer, would be keen on the velour rear seats.
  21. Welcome to the forums, hopefully everyone plays nice in this thread lol
  22. Iron chef has been on SBS for something like 5 years, if not more.
  23. I'd be careful running 18psi through a hi flow. Maybe it's irrational, but I blew my old high flow turbo at 17-18psi. Is yours bush or ball bearing?
