  1. This has been posted over and over. Don't bother, from what I've heard if you de turbo a turbo car it's still classified as a turbo. Buy a cheap car and then get a turbo skyline when you finish your p's, or buy a non turbo skyline and upgrade to a turbo down the track.
  2. You work at Centrelink TOP in tuggeranong don't ya?
  3. Is the canteen there still barely passable? or have they improved it?
  4. pic of the crack six months ago, now I know what to look for, 2/3rds of the way through the bracket. shop I took the car to at the time to rebuild the rear coilovers around that time did not spot the crack , and neither did I. all fixed now.
  5. go to the rb30 subforum search is your friend http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...on-t106224.html
  6. instead of painting the cooler, you could replace the mesh that was in the bumper, normally people cut that out. Plus painting the cooler normally doesn't help its cooling efficiency.
  7. Depending on when the parts for my gearbox come in I might, but I'm starting to think my rear diff and possibly tailshaft might be fuba as well . So don't want to do many long drives with the car.
  8. If the weathers not disgusting I'll come out, not sticking around till midnight though.
  9. Would be interested in this, but my cars in no shape to go down the 1/4 at the moment.
  10. Binning the clutch fans tomorrow if no one wants them. Pick them up for 5$ if you want.
  11. 32's are getting old and most will require a fair bit of work on them. They are getting close to 20 years old now. You need to factor in not only the purchase price, but I'd say at least 10 grand on top of that for incidentals and maintanence etc. I'm getting my gearbox rebuilt and the diff and various other driveline components don't seem to be too far behind the gearbox in their condition. All these things add up.
  12. Had it welded up today, it was in one of the brackets holding the right rear lower control arm in place, all the way through on one side. Suspension shop did say they'd never seen one crack like that before.
  13. Theres a crack in the rear subframe on my car. Will post pics tomorrow if I can, just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this problem before? and what they did to fix it. It was suggested that the crack could be TIG welded. Couldn't find any topics on this when searching.
  14. What exact door seals are you talking about? As there are a fair few different ones on the door.
  15. told ya they were pretty fuba
  16. what profile tyres u running?
  17. details on rims?
  18. Your a bad man..... any link to the 4 door at speedhunters?
  19. dang it, they wont fit on my car without some creative camber or guard rolling, which I don't want to do.
  20. about 1400$ in parts plus labour of taking the box out and rebuilding it. replacing: input shaft, 2nd synchro ring, 3rd synchro ring, 4th synchro ring, 1st/2nd selector sleeve, 3rd, 4th selector sleeve, 3rd/4th selector hub, Energiser springs & pads for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th
  21. Yeah I call bullshit on those kms, unless you've got the logbooks and checked with the japanese rego authority.
  22. Well Ive decided I will be getting the box rebuilt at award when the parts come in, just a standard rebuild to r33 specs. In the scheme of things it's not that much more expensive than getting a 2nd hand gtr box, which is a bit of a lottery. The local places don't seem to have the experience with these boxes that Terry has.
  23. hmm whats the offsets on the old rims?
  24. call nisswreck in adelaide, they have a red 32 4 door in stock. Nissan does sell some rubber seals new, but some are uber expensive.
  25. Should of been obvious , I thought it might of been gbox bits.
