  1. Every shop has good and bad feedback, take it for what its worth. I refuse to ever take my car back to Trojan myself. Much better service at Import parts canberra down the road.
  2. If your prepared to pay the money Nissan would probably still stock it, I bought a new tailshaft for my car through Nissan a few years back.
  3. I'm with Optus on the same account.
  4. Thumbs up to import parts Canberra, had a timing belt service done by them, and have to say provided the best service by far out of any shop ive been to in Canberra.

  7. Anyone able to recommend a shop for a closed door respray? Looking at getting the car resprayed and want to keep the same colour. The paint is rooted. Got a quote from one shop for 3850$ for a closed door respray. Bare metal was 16k The quote seems reasonable to me for the closed door, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for shops in Canberra?
  8. welcome back
  9. The rear seat accommodation is average to say the least. I have a 4 door and it's not exactly roomy.
  10. Probably get a better response in the driveline /engine sub forums
  11. My car has an r32 spec rb25 in it, and it hasn't been engineered, also cleared defects over at dickson without an engineers certicate. So it is a bit of a weird one.
  12. Have to wait until 30 years old in ACT
  13. Update, Looks like I may have found the issue, both tailight inner brackets were lose, meaning the wires were at an unusual angle, need to wait to see how it goes, but the car hasn't blown a fuse yet after fixing this issue this morning.
  14. Not much of an update but still have the car, starting to ponder if I should respray the car in Bayside blue again and keep it rather than sell it, as the values are down so low for 32's now. Had bouts of wanting to sell it and not sell it.
  15. That is also true a second hand gbox would be cheaper, but condition isnt a certainry
  16. Another happy award diffs and gearbox customer here.rebuilt my gbox a few years ago
  17. Anyone? Searched around and nothing really conclusive. I take it wouldn't be a snapped speedo cable or something in the dash? The 4wd guage appears to be reading totally wrong too
  18. I take it the procession through the complex is for r32 gtrs only not r32 non gtrs
  19. probably shouldn't of posted this in the other thread, but anyway, is someone able to recommenda an auto electrician in belconnen?
  20. Anyone able to recommend an auto electrician in belconnen? Having repeated fuses blow, and now it looks like the speedo and tacho won't work.
  21. Anyone had similar issues?
  22. After some advice, havent been able to find anything indepth while searching. Having some electrical issues with my R32 GTS4 4 door at the moment When I turn the key to accessories, the speedo and tacho are flatlined at 0, I see the torque gauge for the 4wd system go to the 12 oclock position , from memory the other dials appear okay. When I start the car the tacho is at 0, and doesn't move. I pulled out all the fuses and checked them, there was one blown 10amp fuse, which I replaced which didn't fix the issue. The fuse I replaced has blown a number of times in a matter of a day it appears to be the door power window fuse as that's what affected, so i presume something somewhere in the electrics is not right. A couple of things: I am running a Vipec ECU. It would normally cycle the tacho from memory to redline when you first put the car on accessories, that doesn't happen anymore After some advice as to what to check next before I get an auto electrician to check the car. thanks
