  1. Hey Jarryd, Where you located? Can't see it in your post. Cheers, Ian
  2. Coil pack & loom still available?
  3. Hi Wagoners, I'm chasing a front passenger door tp replace damage caused by cyclist. Preferably no rust and located in Sydney region but willing to travel if needed. PM me with what you have.
  4. I'm keen for this.... see you there
  5. Ok, so here are some pics of my set up with some braided lines thrown into the mix. Passenger Side... Drivers Side... AND..... Rebuilt standard turbo with larger exhaust housing. Cant wait to fit this but will need a few other items to complement this and front mount already purchased. Type 4 Nistune board, bigger injectors & Plazmaman FF Plenum(why? I hear you ask)........ Because I can, and they look the goods. Especially in mat black. Stay tuned
  6. Ok, so after a grueling day at the gym on saturday competing in the in-house crossfit games. I forced myself to get amongst it today and finally sort out the brakes on my rig. Happy days... Helen assisted with bleeding the brake lines. The boat pulls up nicely now. Only took four months to sort out. I know I promised pics and I will post them up soon, just trying to upload a video to complete my Cert 4 in Business Sales. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH, its all happening. This will be me when it all done and dusted...
  7. Well after a few months of stuffing around, wrong parts being ordered and the body not being up to the task. Looks like I'm finally on the right track to getting my brake upgrade finished, fitted one side up and pretty stoked with the result. Also today I picked a turbo I had left with John at Precision turbos in Wetherill Park to be rebuilt. Standard turbo with larger Garrett exhaust housing, I also had a few actuators laying around and he picked the best one. Estimated good for 300kw. Way exceeds my current expectations which is awesome........ can't wait to fit it. Pics to come. I'M EXCITE
  8. Hey there Bud, has the nistune been fitted to the ECU?
  9. OK, I'll try and find out from my local tuner and get back to you. Interested in this if we can make it work.
  10. Do you know if this will work with an Auto? The nistune I mean, I know that the ECU will throw all kinds of faults up it I plug that into mine. Just want to know if its the same board for S2 Manuals and Autos. Cheers, Ian
  11. Big thanks to Terry & execs for organising and to Theo for being a great host. Got me thinking about some of the mods I have in mind
  12. Yeah the Toony boys are back...haha
  13. So tomorrow is the big day, hopefully able to swap my R33 rotors for R34 and get it done... I want my rig back so I can drive it again before I swap the turbo out...
  14. Hi Terry, Count me in brother. I'll be there with Nick
  15. Yeah Mummy day duties here on both sides of the family... I like my balls just where they are. 25th works, also gives me more time to sort some shit out the stagea
  16. Just saw your post Scotty, yeah I believe the disc I have is incorrect for my application. It was purchased after I was told by numerous people that the calipers I had were R33. After I did my own research, I realised I had R34 but didnt realise that the disc wouldnt match up. I'm hoping that DBA will take them back and alllow me to pay the difference on discs to suit R34
  17. OK, so I have confirmed I have the incorrect rotors for my caliper set up. I was originally told the calipers were R33 calipers and with this info ordered rotors to suit. I have since found out that the bolts are M14 indicating they are R34 calipers........DAMMIT The rotors are at best 300mm x 30mm - the pads only partially cover the disc. I need 310mm x 30mm, time to dig out the invoice and see if I can return them and swap them out for the correct rotors. Very frustrating seeing as the stagea has been on stands for over 2 months now, I just want this done so I have a car while I get the mazda's issues sorted. Looking like at least another week before I get this sorted
  18. Thanks Duncan, I originally thought about doing this but the washers I had were way too thick. I'll have another dig around in my 'random stuff' box and see if I can find some thinner washers to suit & hopefully post up some pics for good measure..
  19. Hey Bob, I just re-read my previous post.....5mm should be plenty 2.5 mm either side, if the rotor was centered with the caliper, but thats not what I'm getting. The inside face of the caliper hits the front face of the rotor, it doesn't sit centered like it should. All the pics of R34 calipers I have found dont show any type of spacer like the standard stagea calipers. The spacer fits between the hub mount ahd the caliper where the bolts fit. Anyways, gonna give it another try this week end, maybe I don't have the rotor pushed in far enough, I'm thinking if I fit the wheel and tighten the wheel nuts it will bed the rotor as far in as it will. Remove the wheel and try fitting the caliper again.
  20. Having trouble loading pics atm, bolts I have are fine in length. The part that is fouling on the Disc is the inside/front of the Caliper where the disc feeds into it. There is like 5mm clearance for the disc when I mount the calipers. I'm starting to think I have mismatched the discs.
  21. Hi Darren, I'm interested in the console. Can you post up a pic???
  22. I'm in the process of installing R34 front calipers coupled with 300mm DBA Rotors. The standard M14 bolts off the stagea fit but were only grabbing 1/3 of the thread so I ordered R34 bolts. When fitting the calipers up I noticed the were fouling on the front of the rotor. I believe I am missing the spacers that slip over where the bolts fit.
