^^^ cheers how long can the motor hold 25psi for, will it blow up??

So can anyone tell me whats the max boost for the HKS 2530 turbos and max boost through the motor and a good all day everyday boost level!!!

yeah hes only built the bottom end as i spun a big end bearing, ive got a exedy heavy duty and i think there not to good over 320kw atw, Whats a good all day everyday boost level??

i think there sard 666cc, not too sure they were on the car already

Yeah ive fuel pump and sard injecters. ive got most of the supporting mods to get there??

hi guys, i just need some help setting up my car. recently i have spun a bearing on my r33 gtr its almost finished being rebuilt and i dont know how much boost i can run and what power i could be getting??? Mods • Full engine rebuild blue printed bottom end • ACL race bearings big end and main • Aries forged pistons 1mm oversize block deck/milled/bored and honed • Eagle forged rods • ARP head stud kit • 2 x HKS 2530 turbos • N1 oil pump • MLS 5 layer steel gasket • Recondition head • Ported exhaust manifold • Custom twin dump pipes • HKS super dragger exhaust • Microtech computer • Trust twin entry intercooler So can anyone tell me what boost i should run and what power i could be getting im looking at about 320+RWKW

yeah thats a good price. i payed $500 for Exedy HD clutch $400 for labour and machining the fly wheel and gear box oil.

yeah i took it to them pull engine out and put back in, 1 year warranty on engine and yeah drive away and wear it in???

hey does $8200 sound good for a rebuild with forged pistons h beam rod acl race bearing and blueprinted bottom etc etc

well the mechanic and i had a look at everything and what was ment to be in there wasnt, just a few different parts and he said to the conrods were not flush or not shaved off a bit to get more torque/pressure on the bearings and the bore had uneven wear and are oval an he said it wasnt oil failure. thats just what ive been told!!!

ok so the motor has been pulled apart and by the looks of things it had been built incorrectly and they have cut corners!!! it was the third bearing in. its now getting new H beam rods new forged pistons blueprinted bottom end MLS gasket and etc Does anyone know how much boost i can run safely

Whats everyones choice for bearings i got told that ACL main bearings only have a single oil feed hole, where as the Nissan shells have five. The big ends are feed oil through these

so the N1 oil pump arn't the best ay????

Ok, its got forged pistons, strip,clean and inspect block, machine block, test and machine crank, resize conrods and rebush, ACl race bearings and mains, N1 oil pump 22000km on the motor blueprinted bottom end it had fresh oil 5w.30 castrol the car is just a street car, it was bouncing off the limiter abit. but when it happened i wasnt driving and i wasnt in the car. my 'MATE' the car was warm but when he got in and took off straight away and hit the limiter in first and 2 min later it when he came back it was F*C*ED also the car had not been tuned so it was running rich as on about 20psi

Castrol 5w-30, well i drove from melbourne to townsville and did a change asap and then 3 days later it went but usally 5000km

yeh thought so i opened the oil cap and there was lots of steam???? and its was full

what oil should i be using to help prevent this happening again??? also would keeping the oil cooler help. what temperature should it be at??
