I disagree with that opinion they are only doing their job..i think its all a matter of respect you respect them they respect you back.. I was able to sit down whilst being drug tested the other day and chat with an officer for about 10mins whilst be drug tested..just spoke shit said he loved the skyline..told me to be careful cause it was a lil loud then rattled off all the reasons whilst the drug test are so inaffective.. lol was actually quite funny... i also managed to have a chat with another one a few weeks ago at my local pub whom has just come to break up a fight..maybe it where im from eastern suburbs (nopt the city etc) maybe there a lil more chilled out.. i dont know.. I even had the cop who pulled a gun on me not long ago apolgoise to me a day later..so yeah..

I think most officers or the ones i have dealt with anyways seems to realise that your just covering your ass and in any case usually show you a bit more respect..

I have never not asked for a badge number or name and everytime it gets written down.. along with the rego.. this has actually helped me in my upcomign court hearing the officer who pulled me over seems to think he had another male officer with him at the ime but it was actually a female.. but yes I do acknowledge that in a situation such as yours I would have been a bit taken back and unsure what to do either..

na sorry never got a remote with it and the box mite still be at my mates (owned the car beofre I did ) i'd have to ask..

Ok lil bit of a dumb question.. I'm currently running 18's on my car with the rears width being 18x9" the tyres on the rears are 265/35/18.. what other size tyres will fit safely.. IM looking to go with something a lil cheaper therefore attempting to shy away from the 265's if possible..

i could not see it as being even close to legit... umm I'd probably go to your local cop shop or the local station near where it was.. explain what happened ask if theres any records etc.. at least then the cops will keep an eye out too..and in the unlikely event your car does happen to go missing you'll ahve ap olice report to cover your ass with the insurance company also..

i know police are using a similars cars to that hilux I have been followed by one myself.. with uniformed police on baord.. however that all doesnt seem very legite to me.. first thing I do when I'm pulled over no matter what for is ask for the officers names and ID number..before handing over my license or anything.. although it seems a lil over confident it is always a good safety measure..i also ensure to get the plates of the police car..no matter what I will wait by the side of the road till they drive off.. Didnt happen to notice anything missing or anything extra placed in your boot did you?? sounds awfully suss to me..
