bah, theyre overrated heheh Thoroughly enjoy my R32, should have done it years ago. However the whole import rego thing is a pain in the ar$e. I have enjoyed driving my blingmobile cranking out tunes never previously heard within the confines of a skyline GTS with chrome wheels (Best ever beer songs Vol 1 and 2 :D)

I havent confirmed this myself so dont argue with a cop or anything but apparently it got changed a month or so back. but it may also be different state by state....

put the pod in the standard air box which state are you in? In NSW the law got changed yet again stating that pods are ok...so I have NFI whats going on these days

I thoroughly enjoyed the drive back! The new england is a much better trip than the pathetic highway IMHO.

Thanks Shell and Kabab I have already discovered that the nice wide "Wanli" tyres are great for "Doriffto" as they are crap for everything else Kabab, I'll try the Hicas thing just to compare the difference.

cheap jumper leads are worth their weight in packing foam. the el cheapo chinese ones have the cable crimped onto the ends through the insulation and generaly are open circuit. either buy decent leads or cut the clamps off, bare back the jumper cables and solder them onto the clamps. usually even if they do make contact the actual wire is so small theyb wont pass enough current to start a car without glowing red hot and melting all the insulation off them

I'd definately be taking the turbo off for a visual inspection of the wheels. It may have lost the compressor wheel even.

Heya all, dunno how you guys feel about "Hi I'm a newbie" posts so mods feel free to lock/delete the thread if it isn't the done thing. I just picked up an R32 GTSt on thursday (got it from QLD and drove it straght back to newcastle) and have to say I'm pretty happy with it! I spent a fair bit of time on PF mostly ripping on skylines in order to stir up Kabab and Southo but I'm pretty happy to have gone to the "dark Side" Can anyone tell me how to tell ifn the 4WS is operating? There is no visual indication of it at parking speeds, I dont know enough about it on these cars. Secoh

Heya all! just joined up as I bought myself a nice R32 GTSt. It has some chromies with the star trek pattern () and 50% tyres, which I dont like. I want to swap them with some GTR rims with good tyres, or some other shiny wheel that is in (to me) slightly better taste. I also need the boot trim panels, stock front bar, stock air box, stock BOV and a stock steering wheel. Can anyone help me out, preferabl;y in Newcastle? Cheers guys!
