Thanks for all the advice guys.. at the moment, I'm just trying gather all the internal parts with top of the line well known brands and the next step will be looking for a reliable, honest, professional builder/mechanic. I just want to get the important thing out of the way, having a strong reliable engine which i can build on and wouldn't feel the need to open the engine up after turbo upgrade etc..

Doesnt really remember if its a backyard job or not.. It all depends on their experince and whether they know if they are doing it properly or not. Got mine done in this guys house, not only it was half the price but the job was done better than most of the tint places.

Al's car is more of a Mustang Red, where as the pictures above is like a light burgundyish.. and mine is like a Ferrari Red. Everyone knows Red cars go faster

No entirely true.. Some Mercs weigh 2tons and still manage to get 13seconds with great handling.. You simply cannot compare a 180 cubic inch 2.5 RB25DET to a 250 cubic inch 4.0 in-line six.. Not only XR6T's Garret Turbos are actually twice the size of a RB25DET's turbo but also have amazing pulling power even before the turbo kicks.. You plant your foot down on aXR6T's six, it pulls you back with a big g-force without the turbo kickin' in.. You plant your foot down a RB25DET, no g-force untill the turbo kicks in... FKN SHIT TORQUE ON NISSAN. Not to mention you can actually get into 11 seconds mark with XR6T's stock turbo, where as your and my RB25DET's need a bigger turbo upgrade if we want to get into 12's.

Ignoramus strikes again... I've personally taken the XR6T for a cruise on hard curves, twists on high speeds.. the car handles amazing, in some areas better than my R33 GTST. This could be coz of xr6t suspension setup, so dont be a fool and say its only good for straight line Just stick to your crappy R32!!

What tech? Double Over Head Cams? These were invented some 90 years ago by an Italian Auto comp. Fiat VCT? I believe these are German creation.. was first seen on Merc, Bmw etc.. Turbo? German cars had Turbo chargers way before Japanese cars and.. not to mention Turbo chargers are actually a German invention.

Anyway, i know my next car will be a XR6T As for the weight of a XR6T, its only 100kg more and infact GTR weighs a little more than a XR6T s15 200sx = 1200 R34 GT-T = 1450-1500 BA XR6T = 1600 R34 GTR = 1600 Most of you guys have never even driven a fairly new EL or AU or BA with a healthy engine, you dont understand pulling power of this engine Ford has, its just unbelievable.. amazing torque!
