Hey peeps... Organising a day cruise for 12th of June to Bells Line of Road...Looks like we'll be meeting at the Eastern Creek Maccas Westbound on the M4, at 10:00am and then heading west and to Richmond via Wallgrove Rd then follow the path, stop for lunch at Bell or Bilpin and then head accross to Mt Victoria, then home down the Gt Western Highway...So far got a few from Silviansw coming but I got a skyline so would be nice to see some others too.... Hope ya'll can make it.

Lepperfish talk to Rob Rigoli about this, he doesn't recommend the Powerfc for use on the conversion, I dont think he's actually used the Powerfc on one before as he knows the microtech works so well in that app.

The IC you say has "pipes" are the the full set of pipes from the IC or just the little arm??

Exactly so my plan is to build an engine 1.25 times more than what I want now, by that I mean, I expect to take 12 mths, allow 15, want 300KW prefer 375, want it to cost say $15-17K but will allow alot more...

Well not exactly Dez, getting a bottom end and throwing the head, turby, computer etc on to it and then down the track going to slowly rebuild the bottom end of my old motor and slowly just buy all the bits and pieces, build it right up, then rip out the crappy engine and throw the beastly one in anyways that's the plan :-)

Dezert you lucky prick, mine was the same and I could still drive it however I didnt think it was going to last too bloody long, I had EXACTLY the same happen, bluish smoke at anything over 4K etc, but WHEN mine blew initially, I stopped and opened bonnet the disptick had blown out of the tube, there was oil fu(king everywhere, there appeared to be a crack in a manifold somewhere as there was an enormous "shhhhhhhhhhhhh" noise that increased in volume with rev's, there was a rubber pipe split form a sensor, don't know which sensor though, driver side and basically small black boc couple of inches all round on the firewall...drove for two days afterwards, from Penrith into the city and back then Penrith to Kurrajong and it BARELY made it, so pulled it apart and ready to do something about it now :-)

So what did he charge you approx??
