  1. Yeah I think I'll go the bigger tank, mine will see the occasional track day. If I ever pull my finger out and get the car running lol
  2. Cool, that's what I wanted to hear. I had a silly notion in my head that the small tank would only last about as long as a tank of fuel.
  3. Guys what size tanks are you running and how long do they last? I'm about to order a stage 3 kit and you can get a option for a bigger tank just dunno wether it's necessary. Sorry for the hijack.
  4. Thanks Trent just wanted to be sure
  5. Looks the goods Dale, where did you get the polished fuse box cover? Do you guys sell them?
  6. Hey guys, Ive put a plazmaman plenum onto my 33 gtst and because I've lost the bleed point I decided to connect up a breather tank/swirl pot that I've had sitting in the shed for years. On the return line that runs from the bottom of the breather tank to the lower rad hose I was thinking of putting the connection upside down as it sits on a 45 degree angle and if I have it facing upwards (towards the bonnet) the hose will probably kink once hot due to how it is angled Do you think having the nipple on the rad hose pointing downwards towards the ground and then having the hose run up to the breather tank would cause any problems??? It may be a stupid question but I'm just unsure wether gravity would work against me say when the car is off and then with pressure over fill the tank if that makes sense. I will post up a couple of pictures tomorrow to help explain what I mean. Thanks
  7. I "think" the Kai is .64 and the pro s .68??? By looking at the pro s housing and dump I assume the flow is going to be much better, the dump especially is pretty chunky
  8. What have you got for the 33 Mark? I'm keen to see your design if you have one yet.
  9. Man they look awesome! How hard was it to do? I'm thinking of doing my 33 lights
  10. cjmotor on eBay, they are a performance shop in qld. 3600 delivered to Sydney. He had I think 4 kits in stock for the rb25 when I bought mine.
  11. You can still get teh pro s if you look around. Picked up mine brand new about 4 months ago. Wasn't cheap though
  12. Sweeeeeeeet! Thanks 75coupe. There is now way in hell I could get them to psi in the next probably 6 weeks.
  13. Header tanks, ooooooooooooooo What type of setup are you gonna do? Just a normal type? Is it ok if I try and catch you before you go away for the cover? No biggy if your busy I just may be out there later this week. Holidays........I remember them
  14. Thanks mate, What ever happened to first in best dressed lol
  15. Hey mate, Could you pm me some better pics of the mirrors showing the glued bit? Are they genuine ganadors?
  16. I got replacements from bunnings, m6 x 25 high tensile hex bolts. Then I just used a washer on either side if the rubber grommets so it didn't pinch through. Looks pretty good on all up cost me about 10bux. And Munky is right, don't tighten the shit out of them just do them up enough to squash the rubber a little and then redo after a few heat cycles. Edit: also don't forget to run a little bit of gasket goo around the back of the cover where the half moons are, they have a tendency to sometimes leak.
  17. Just gonna get the pipework sorted today and drop it off for welding during the week. Cam covers, fuel rail and and all wiring that has needed to be extended is done. Once I get time to drop over to see Craved I'll pick up my coated coil cover and put that on. I've only been working on the car for a couple of hours here and there because of work commitments. As per usual with me things are progressing but very slowly. I have some random pics I have been taking along the way so I'll try and post them up tonight.
  18. No worries, also paint that dam front cam gear cover as well will match up better.
  19. +1 Powdercoating FTW
  20. It's a bit hard to see on the iPhone but it looks like it has a big rust bubble on it???
  21. Looking nice mate the blue theme will look good when finished. May I suggest painting the fuel rail as well but a different colour to break it up, say silver????? It's the little things that make a detailed engine bay look super neat. Nice work.
  22. Dunno about the gtr-s but my 2835 has the restrictors built in, I guess they would be the same. I reused the speedlow fitting that hypergear gave me with my highflow for the oil feed so I didn't have to use the dodgy looking right angle joiner that attatches to the banjo.
  23. That's pretty rough Harey, the workshop does have a degree of responsibility though IF you can prove the cat was there. And FWIW I run a 5" body metalcat on a 3.5" exhaust no probs clearance wise.
