  1. I'll see what I can find and I'll get some to you Dale
  2. So I've got a mild 33 gtst and I am in the process of upgrading turbo (2835 pro s) and installing a plazmaman plenum. I've decided to buy a new intercooler while I'm at it as my old one has seen better days and is a china jobby. Anyway I got to thinking, because the short pipe that runs from the plazmaman to the intercooler piping is 3" an then I will have to put a reducer in somewhere to tie in with the 2.5" pipework that is pretty much standard with most aftermarket pipework why not just go 3" on the whole of the cold side????? The end tanks all have a 3" flange and reall the only thing that's going to be smaller is the turbo outlet on the hot side. So what would be the pros and cons of running one of the two options below. Option 1: keep the 2.5" pipework on the hot side and run 3" on the entire cold side from end tank to plenum so the is no reducer (on that side) Option 2: run 3" pipes on both hot and cold side and have a reducer at the turbo outlet. Would running the extra .5" pipe diameter create any noticeable lag because it has to fill more area? And could it cause any problems going from a 2.5" hotside into the intercooler and then out to a 3" pipe setup to the plenum? Interested in your thoughts. Thanks
  3. Thanks Hamish, Hey what size are your Professors? ( they are professors aren't they???)
  4. Oh yeh, Fallen Azenis RT215 street semi's 255/40 17 rear and 235/45 17 front Could go down to 245's on the 9" rims easily
  5. Hey peeps, I'm just after a quick answer on this as I just came inside from ripping more stuff out of the car and I got thinking about my wheels. I have lmgt2 rims which are 17 x 9 +38 on the rears and 17 x 8 + 35 (I think) on the fronts. Would the rear size with the + 38 offset fit on the fronts without guard rolling etc??? Would like a bit more dish up front and the same size all round of possible. Ta
  6. Hey Dale have you got hold of any orange lenses for reference? If not let me know and I'll see what I can chase up
  7. I've seen the rears and I couldn't see any gaps, looks to be a good fit. Hey Chris what size gauges can you fit in the din pocket spot? I remember seeing somewhere a triple gauge holder the has the gauges tilted towards the driver but I can't remember where. Might save you some fabbing. I'm thinking of doing the same thing for oil, h2o & ???? Maybe boost? Now teach me how to weld will ya!
  8. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still dont think the buildup will be finished in time
  9. Found the part number, this is what the dump is wrapped in when you buy the RB25 Pro s kit. Im pretty sure you cant get it as a separate item but i could be wrong. A couple of the actual dump as well
  10. Can you get them separate? I have one here I'll see if it has a part no on it
  11. Hey John forgive my ignorance but what is the big dip at the top of the blue line?
  12. Yeah it's in my build thread "Project GR33DD" you get it from Clark rubber
  13. The 10mm foam won't fit in the roof, needs to be 5mm. I learnt this the hard way and it made the clips at the back near the rear window separate from the lining after a few days. I think I've got enough of the 5 mm left over at home. If I do it's yours.
  14. Try out the foam I used on top of the dynamat Chris, weighs nothing and makes a big difference.......just my 2c
  15. Hey stupid question but how easy is it going to be to to wire up the led's in the gear knob. Is ther already a power supply near there or can you piggy back onto say the cig lighter or something?
  16. I have the 33 workshop manual mate (NOT just the engine man you get online) so let me know what particular diagram you are after and I'll scan it for you.
  17. If I find some next week Dale I'll contact you and send it up.
  18. IMO I don't think it has to be glass, as I imagine a glass lens would be a lot more expensive to reproduce??? But I can't speak for the other guys But as I said above it would have to have the pattern to it and not just flat clear plastic as it would just look as though a piece of Perspex was thrown in there. Also as 75coupe said it my be worth investigating how to get the reflector part in there behind the lense so they both look the same. I am due to go to a skyline wreckers in the next week or so for a couple of little parts and I am happy to donate a set if I can get them. PM me if you are interested Dale.
  19. Should be a little bolt for letting out air near the fpr on the end of the fuel rail part. That's where it is on the 33 anyway
  20. I'm in Phil if you can get it going
  21. I can't see why a plastic lense wouldn't work, you would have to get the "pattern" or lines or whatever you want to call it though as I think it would look a bit funny and cheap with just a flat clear piece of plastic/perspex there. Maybe one of us should donate a set to psi parts so they can see what they can come up with? Dunno how much a second set is worth though???? If cheap enough I'm willing to send them a set, anyone know how much they go for?
  22. Dale how bout psi parts make the whole thing? It's not like your busy with other stuff or anything hahahaha
  23. I did some searching a while back when I read Phil's original thread about attempting this and came across these pics on JDM Styling (I think), forgot i had them on my phone. Just goes to show it can and has been done on a S2. After the glass cutting is done does anyone know what kind of bulbs can be used? as in if a big orange bulb is put behind the clear will it just look orange again or will it be far enough back to not stand out?
  24. Psi parts for the panel, I have one and so does PMR33. Mine isn't on the car yet but phils is I think. Maybe he will be kind enough to post pics. Btw is your intercooler inverted Arthur? Did you have to do any cutting to get it to fit? Pm me if you like
