  1. Hey what's the go with garages on the day, do you need to book in advance or is it part of the deal? I'm gonna have suitcases and tools and crap like that so need to put them somewhere. Cheers
  2. Thanks Cassbo I'll bring a few tools with me
  3. Thanks Mr Chubbs What time are you heading down?
  4. Hey guys a bit off topic but how do all you peeps with adjusable swaybars set them up for wakie? I've got selby adj 27/24mm set on one down from hrdest at the front and hardest for the rear. It's very very stiff on road so should I loosen them up a bit for the day or should this setting be ok for track work? Sorry for the hijack just thought this is probably a good place to ask before I start a thread in the suspension section. Cheers Dave
  5. Plus 1 Passenger Name: Alex Gillies Paid extra into the SAU bank account tonight
  6. Ando is it too late to add a passenger? I'll put the extra 20 into the Sau when I get home tonight ta
  7. +1 trimmed mine and no problems
  8. +1 sorry to jump off topic but are the 26 cam covers a straight fit? The car is still looking good mate.
  9. Co-ords please mr stabby!
  10. Mmmmmmm, Fair enough. Could it be possible they are just going to rebrand/rename them? On a side note I checked my diary and I last saw SK about 6 weeks ago not 2 so my apologies......How time flys eh
  11. Why do you think he won't be getting the selby bars anymore? I spoke with sk about two or three weeks ago and he said he still gets (and prefers) the selbys
  12. umm, I don't think they do but I could be wrong. I know I could never get a bt connection with some of my mates nokias when I first got the phone but I haven't checked it since the last couple of firmware upgrades. Surely this app will be better than trying to use a stopwatch? BTW you know the only people who hate iPhones are the people who don't have one...lol....nah mine give me the shits a lot of the time
  13. Thanks mate, price has gone up though now 7.99 still a very cheap laptimer IMO keep you eye out for a guy in a red 33 (plates:GR33DD) waving an iPhone around in the air looking really confused, that will be me.....hahaha see you there
  14. Hey NISMO, I just downloaded it. Looks ok, have you used it before? Does that mean your the one I come and hassle when I can't get it to work? Oh yeh, can you put wakie into it as one of the tracks?
  15. Sorry mate I didn't get around to posting pics yet. I'll post them up tonight for you. Oh, the guide isn't mine but do a search inthe nsw section for "project 33 finally finished" by DaveO74 and it has a heap of pics in it
  16. I thought I'd add my 2c. I have had one of the old Batmbl split dump/front pipes on my 33 for a few years and when the turbo was stock I never had any boost issues or anything.......but, once I had my turbo highflowed I have had boost control problems with spiking and the highflow kind of hiccups and has a little stutter high up in the rev range. My tuner (unigroup) say that this is caused by the split dump being made for the standard turbo so when the rear housing gets machined out a bit for the bigger impeller thingys (very technical speak..haha) the "hole" in the split dump is actually a little smaller than the hole in the exhaust housing which in turn creates enough turbulence to create small boost controll issues. If someone with a better understanding of turbo flow etc can explain this in a better way please do. I hpe this makes sense, I think you'll know what I mean though.
  17. no worries, I'm pretty sure the old SK group buy threads are still there but they are now closed so if you search a bit you'll probably find the 34 sheet. And yes the whole setup is really good. My line actually rides better than my work van which is pretty amazing considering how well it handles, just soaks up the bumps.
  18. I found the old SK group buy parts sheet but its for the R33 so it will only give you a rough guide but still not a bad price. Around $1500 for the springs and shocks if you want to go the whole lot its a bit more but worth it IMO
  19. No worries I'll have a look at the reciepts tonight and let you know
  20. Still very easy to get. All the whiteline stuff can be ordered through repco and the prices are about the same as the SK group buy. SK is still around (I met with him about a month ago) and yes he can still get the kit but he gets you selby swaybars instead of the whiteline ones. I can ask him if he would mind if I gave you his mobile number if you want? As with pricing give me a bit and I'll work out how much is cost all up
  21. I've got the full SK Bilstien/Whitleline kit in my 33 and IMO it is great gear. Feels good on the street and is apparently very good on track. Firm ride but still very comfortable......just food for thought as an option other than coilovers
  22. I made my own pod box from some alluminium sheeting. Pretty easy if you have access to a metal bender. I'll post up some pics tonight if your interested, or do a search for my project 33 in NSW and you should find it. Although mine has a window in it so not very stealth.
