  1. Old walbro 255lph something something, I'm hoping that's all the problem is. Pings off it's head on wot in third. I don't think it can keep up with the 2835 pro s????? I could be wrong I'm just hoping that's all that's wrong
  2. Yeah been pretty slack, cars all finished and was using its a daily for a while. I think my fuel pump can't keep up any more so need to upgrade. I'm trying to get to sutton texi, u commin??
  3. Totes awesome???!!!!!!???? The lolz
  4. +1 for Chris here. Awesome work that wont dissapoint. I think I just about ran out of bits for him to coat lol
  5. Poor karnt. The law of averages say that eventually you will get a full day in Cable ties and gaffer tape to keep the dipstick in ??????
  6. I think I'll enter this one, just need some dyno time before hand to suss out a few things and if I get the ok I'm in. Let's hope my only problem is a dying fuel pump......easy fix Oooooooo, my first texi!!! Look like a cool track
  7. You need the little clip thingies iirc and screws on the bottom. Should be able to gt them from Nissan. Or ask you spray painter to fit it. Personally I wouldn't use sikaflex to hold a front lip on.
  8. Apparently the 76 with the .82 rear does come on more gradually but I think your still not gonna have full boost till around the 36-3800 mark again??? Maybe one of the boys that has one could clarify, I am only guessing really.
  9. ^^^^^this, just what I said earlier. 2835 feels awesome on the street. Kind of feels like it has a bigger rear but with the response of a small rear if that makes sense.
  10. True, but you can help it a bit with a good suspension setup and grippy tyres. You will never completely get rid of it, just make it easier to control. These 4wd boys don't realize how lucky they have it lol
  11. Falken rt215 semis (well, not the best semis around but still semis) 255/40/17 rear 235/45/17 front Still breaks in second if I mash it, but it's controllable not fishtail city.
  12. Yeah man, picked it up august 2000 with a log booked 28,000 k's on it. Bone stock. I have considered upgrading to a gtr many times but I have never reall found one that will be a good base. Plus I dunno wether I want to go down the full modding path again with with a 26. Twice as much coin to do apparently. I've got a family now so if I here do get rid of the 33 it will be a 4 door next I spose. Evo 10 maybe???? It's been a fun ride though and I have enjoyed owning the car, plus I have learnt heaps by doing everything myself. I've pretty much done all I can do ti it without cracking it open and going forgies etc.
  13. I fixed it, stupid iPhone. CJMotors is what I typed but spell check got me.
  14. That is the new Kai version, on paper it is meant to be better but I don't think there has been many outstanding results with them. I think 89CAL has one, flick him a pm and he should be able to tell you more about it. CJMotor is where I ended up getting my pro s from, delivered in like 3 days. Nice easy transaction.
  15. Blue??? Nah man that's just the plastic cover, like contact for you books. It's polished.
  16. Stop now! I learnt long ago to stop counting the pennies when I comes to cars. Don't forget dude I bought my s2 in 2000 back when they were the price of a new ss commo. The money this has cost me over 11 years would have probably got me a nice 34r buy now.
  17. Now your just showing off
  18. WHAT!!!! Man that is a bargain, I have just added you to my sh1tlist hahahaa. I paid twice that for the kit, you mongrel.
  19. Yep they are still around you just gotto look for them. Took me a while to find a brand new one.
  20. ^^^^^^^^^^ this has been my point for months 75 (post 89), glad I'm not the only one who thinks it. I do kind of feel sorry for Stao in a way, he has in no doubt done great things for the rb25 community, and he often feels as though he needs todefend his product. There is nothing "wrong" with his turbos, I just believe In Some instances you get what you pay for. I have admitted before that we have paid an inflated price for the hks tag but in the scheme of things it's really not tha much compared to say a Garrett equivalent when you take into account all the extra bits and peices you need to get the car running with a new turbo setup. If I was to go back and do the whole highflow thing again (which I wouldn't) I would still by a HG, but when you get to a point of chasing bigger numbers I think the hks does come out on top, it's the HG fanboys that seem to get the sh1ts with these types of comments but as ash said above there is sooooooo much more than a dyno graph. Those of us that are fortunate enough to have been able to get our hands on the 2835 know all too well just how good the car drive with this turbo, VERY fast but still transient and not snappy, and great off boost. IMO and it is just my opinion I believe that is what makes for the perfect turbo, not just having 300 killerwasps and getting thrown back in your seat, you still want a degree of controllability.
  21. Far out Jez, that was meant to be a secret........what am I gonna do on Saturday nights now?????
  22. Why do we have to drive around in womens clothes to prove a point................. See what I did there
  23. Sarge not you in particular saying fudged dyno results, but others have.
  24. EDIT: Forgive the spelling, couldnt be bothered going back in to change it all
