100% Agree and offered my help a number of times and was told 'no thanks we have enough people'. Members are what make the club in any instance, but its up to the execs to make the members feel like that are apart of the club, not just a financial member.
Its really simple stuff, like sending out emails to the club members when events are on etc... I don't come on the forums everyday just to check event postings etc... When you got to the actual events, things were great that wasn't a problem, very professionally run and all went smoothly. It was when you were away from the events I struggled to work out what was going on.
I honestly felt that all I got for my membership last time was a few stickers. Don't get me wrong, everyone I spoke to (including excecs) were brilliant people and great to talk to, but I struggled to work out who was who, what was going on and when.
I have had a look at the SAU QLD website and gone over the events and there are a number of events I'd like to do. I'll happily rejoin to attend these events and meet up with the new exec team.
Look forward to catching up over drinks trackside.
Matt
