that yellow disc thingy on the pillar twisted anticlockwise with a little effort to reveal two contact's like the ones on the tailgate so I'm assuming it's an accessory power outlet but why when there's one in the rear quarter?

ok I will hang on...

I just unloaded my Stagea from the truck a few days ago and the only thing I can't work out is this little duvalacky. It has Nissan on it and a rocker switch down the bottom that alternates beween on/off/door. No light emits from it in anyway and there is a similair looking one on the tailgate that has two bendy metal things that appear to lock something into them. Hopefully someone can shed some light onto what it does???

I'm in depending on the date of course. Unfortunately the Stagea is still not here yet but you never know it may just make it in time?

I remember the original Tokyo extreme racer on Sega Dreamcast used to play that for ages!!!

call J-spec dude! They have come through with flying colours for me so far, even when the sh+t hit the fan man they went above and beyond their usual obligation which I'm stoked about. From purchase to freight and compliance they'll do the lot for ya. I have used different brokers before so I have others to draw a comparison with.

I had to put one in my 32 and squeezed a GTR pump into GTSt sender bracket and man does it sing like. "GNEEYAWAHH" vibrating like crazy in the sender bracket. I bought some fuel resistant rubber to insulate it against the sender and it worked great. Checked on it 3 weeks later to make sure all was ok and the rubber has swollen and become flakey so I removed the rubber immediately. Maybe the rubber wasn't actually fuel resistant? I'm not sure? I don't work for Mythbusters so I wouldn't know but it cetainly shut the pump up! I have lived with it for about 3 years now and your right, you get used to it, it sounds tough too at lights when it's competing with your exhaust for noise honours.

I'm 27 no accidents/claims/fines car value $16.5k Shannons quoted me $1666, that's over 10% of the vehicle value per year and I'm over 25 ?? It must have a lot to do with where I live I suppose?

all done in one day too! That's the kinda efficiency we could use in gov't. (HAHA imagine Johnny Howard in a Stagea OMG I just imagined Johnny Howard in a Stagea sorry guys) Cheers for all your help fella's.
-
you Stagea boy's are mighty friendly I've been finding out today, I've put a WTB in the Stageafieds for a S1 exhaust but if I don't find one mate I'll take up your offer if I need to go the S2 direction, providing you haven't sold it by then that is???
-
I need a S1 catback please or will take S2 if someone can tell me for sure it will fit under a S1 DAYZ rear bar. I don't have the car sorry so I can't give you any measurements or bring the car to you to inspect for suitability
-
one teeny weeny problem, I don't have the car yet, I kinda wanted to have the exhaust at work so that when the car get's dropped off I can throw it on the hoist, change the exhaust, get the car registed and then drive my new baby all night until I feel a microsleep coming on, crawl into the back and see how much more comfy she is than the dog kennel for future nights when I upset the misus. I'll keep you in mind mate cheers. I think I might post a WTB in for sale section for a S1 first though, at least I know it won't give me any drama's
-
Sorry Terminal but I don't even have the car yet let alone part numbers I can PM you my vin # if you want to ring Nissan and see if they can come up with it??
-
Bingo!! Really? If it fits mate it's as good as gone pending the amount of coin you want for it. I don't want to waste your time and mine though Wolverine so I need to establish if it will fit. (I don't want to have to cut the rear bar to make it fit
-
Stasis: Sorry mate, I'll try and explain this a bit better, car turns up from Japan with exhaust as seen in the photo, exhaust is removed, standard exhaust (belonging to compliance shop fitted) car passes compliance, aftermarket exhaust refitted, rear muffler had to be cut off so that the rear bar could be repaired. (see pic and imagine what it looks like with repaired lower bar and no muffler now and that's what I'll be dealing with when my car turns up) So now I have an extremely noisy exhaust with no rear muffler on a car that needs to pass a blue slip. Once that's done and the car's registered Sorry if I confused you mate, I have a roundabout way of explaining things that usually makes sense only to me.
-
stasis: thanks anyway mate I still don't know if a S2 rear muffler's dual pipes will fit under my bar? And will that dual muffler setup that darrinspencer mentioned present any mounting drama's? If anyone can help, I'll say thank you??

something like this?
-
Well it looks like both Mike and myself will be keen to cruise our new StagWags once we get them registered so closer to the date we screw the plates on I think something may have to be organised??
