Hey everybody..... I was reading a thread a few days ago about the new laws coming into place in july 1 this year regarding P-platers. I'm interested in buying a 1988 MR2 Supercharged but i'm not sure whether or not I would be allowed to drive it due to the laws. Can somebody please tell me something thing about it coz i can't find anthing about the issues on the vic roads web site??? Cheers Rob

Hey everyone I was reading HPI magazine and came accross a japanese auction site where you can buy all sorts of jap cars such as gtst's gtr's ect ect... So i went to their web site www.isicar.com. Afte looking at all of their cars on auction for low prices i discovered that there arn't any extra fees to ship the car out of japan but didn't mention any cost involved in the car arriving in melbourne. Firstly what is and who are RAWS holders???? Does anyone know the fees involved in bringing a car into melbourne and is there still such thing as getting an Australian Complience for the car that's imported? Also what has to be done to the car if it is modofied so that i can drive it on the road (here in OZ land)??? Cheers ROB

OK so i understnad that the difference in power would be in proportion to the car, the amount of power the motor is producing and what mods are being used but what sort of power difference are we talking about???

jst got myself a an r33 gtst. If I do take my car to the track will I have to change my fluid and lines????? what else will I have to do in order to allow me to race most of the day????

Question: Will I have 2 change my standard turbo in order 2 do this??? If so then what would you recomend????? I was thinking of buying a HKS GT2530 what do you think???? Cheers

Jst bought myself a cool R33 GTS25-T. I'm wanting to spead around $5000 - $10000 to a achieve around 250kw - 300Kw at the wheels. The car is completly stock and i'm wanting to use it on the road as well as one the track. Could somebody please give me some advise on what I should be changing, what brands I should looking for and also where I can go in Australia, Victoria to tune my car. If you have the same model as me and also have a similar power output please tell me what ya did. Cheers

I'm currently lookin a several R33 GTS25-T's that are for sale. If I were to buy on I would definitelly consider changing several things to make it go faster and handle better. Everybody reading this in Australia knows that a HSV Scubsport is a reasonably fast car (297Kw @ 6000rpm and 530Nm @ 4400rpm). My aim if I was to do buy a R33 GTS25-T is to make the CUBSPORT look likes its standing still when the peddles to the metal!!! so to speak. I was thinking of: changing the turbo replacing the intercooler with an r33 gtr one. high flow 3" exaust changing air filter changing sparkplugs somethin platnium for durability and lowering them to about 0.8mm a new clutch Please give me as much info as possible. I have a reasonbaly strict buget ($5000 - $10000). THNXXXX
