  1. thankx bec, have faxed my form, wrote on it that i will pay on friday.
  2. umm can i put my form in but pay on friday (dont get pay until then) ??? also i know its a repeat question but can i apply for AASA licence on the day or do i have to get one before. thankx
  3. alan, i think u will need to drive at 180 to get out of the way of the bullets is SA ;-)
  4. if u want to goto Thailand go to one of the outer islands would be a place to go, went to koh samui, was good. just relaxed ate and got fat ;-) good beaches and just lazying is my style of holiday and a Saturday in bangkok is good for shopping no more. we went to europe and pakistan in nov/dec, and with my wife off work in may i dont think i will have any money to go anywhere or do anything in 07/08.
  5. i got 2x Seagate 80GB 8MB cache SATA harddisks no longer needed as i upgraded to 250gb hard disks. so i want to sell mine. there are no bad sectors or any problems. asking $50 each or $90 for both. pm me for contact details. i am in SE melbourne.
  6. if u really want to do something like that, why not send it to thailand/indonesia it will cost u lot less in labour charges. eg u r living in NZ, get a wreck/damaged from Japan, but send it to Thailand/Indonesia/or even japan etc to get the damage repaired. keep in NZ for the rest of 1 year, and then bring it in as a Personal import. perfect (well for u, not someone who buys it off you)
  7. well can i nominate myself to the position of "The guys who doesn't turn up, or say anything and sits in the back row" .... can we vote over the web or do we have to trudge up to the meeting?
  8. i think it will only be good for parts. u could always upgrade a normal RS to sti spec with parts from this. as far as wests swap, i think every state has different laws but most now will not let similar happen and have changed or brought new laws in to stop things like that. but i think it could still happen but lets hope u dont get caught driving a car like that or sell it
  9. haha, well i could do that but i recon i will not have money to pay for the parking meter on wednesday, atleast petrol isint a problem at the moment (well until the tank is empty)

    Deca Review

i got a lift up there on Saturday, and enjoyed it a fair bit, cant wait till next year and hopefully i will try and come up as well to compete. thankx alan for the ride and greg for the lift up there and back. looks like i missed the best parts though ;-). pete's tale of two chilies was hilarious.
  11. i will see if i can pop in, seeing i will be in the city all day, just means i have to find something to do from 4:30 till meeting start time.
  12. james is it cuz pee + snow = yellow snow ;-)
  13. it was a long time ago, so processes might have changed. similar thing happened to me but i was uninsured (hence after that i am never been without insurance). lightly tapped the end of a car infront of me. anway cost of damage was about $1500 or so but i went overseas for 3 months. when i come back get a letter from debt collecting agency. saying that they will do a special deal and i only have pay half of the money right there right now and they will close the matter. i said naa i pay $50/month (which i did for 3 months and forgot all about it ;-). but to this day i do feel scared if they might put a black mark on my credit rating. hence moral of the the story... Always get insurance and rating protection. And let the insurance companies take care of the problem
  14. pm sent
  15. yep hail, rain and sun all day both in mulgrave and caulfield. actually it was quite a fair bit of hail in caulfield.
  16. i would love to come and help out and see what is all this fuss about. but cannot come on Friday.... is anyone leaving on early Saturday want a seat warmer ;-). I am in SE melb btw.
  17. sorry couldnt make it. had to goto the city and by the time we came back it would have been too late. hope u guys had fun, and free carwash ;-)
  18. umm nothing much ;-), just decided that i didnt like the front end a lot. so got something on the side of the road to change it for me..... I'll say its my 3rd year bad luck streak's doing.
  19. i might pop in too. the car needs a wash really really badly, i will be in the Liberty GT wagon ;-)
  20. that look quite bad. hopefully u r alright. have u heard from the mechanics how much and what damage to the car?
  21. as if the poor (insert indian/pakistani) console operator knows what a MSDS would be ;-), esp in independent servo
  22. james, i dont know, as the car is at panel beaters hence the half tank. the tank\guage is not even, it will generally go slowly but after it reaches half it drops down quickly. on normal optimax i was getting about 13l\100k on general driving with a few squirts. u must be really babying it or a lot of freeway. i got about 8-9l\100km on my trip from sydney.
  23. i havent had a chance to use it a lot, about 1/2 tank, but in the evo it felt like it had lot more torque low down esp off boost, but strangely felt not as powerful as normal optimax over 5.5k revs
  24. thankx buddy, u will most probably see my car sitting there as well
  25. Hello, Anyone here done any work or know of Nick at classic panels in dandenong. thankx
