thanks for the reply, but i cant find nothing about that solenoid, is that the right part number? do you know ruoghly what there worth so i dont get ripped off.

i just screwed mine straight in, it was a brass thing and the pipes where only really thin aluminium. put a bit of that silicone gasket stuff on the thread and ran a bit of epoxy on the outside of it just to make sure it didnt leak.

hey hey, i had a pfc boost controller hooked up in my old car but when i sold it i didnt remove all the parts for it. i have the thing that you plug the lines into but not the solenoid i think it is. i'll get some pics of what i have in the morning, but i wanted to know is it possible to buy just that part that im missing or am i up for a whole new set? also while ive got you here, my car was running fine untill a couple of days ago when i started to get heaps of knock, like jumping into the 90's at times. its fine if im just driving around normally but as soon as i give it a hit i get heaps of knocking. i thought maybe bad fuel but if refilled the tank since and same thing happening. nothing has changed in the car at all and ive had to wind down the boost to try stop some of the kock, was running 15psi and wound it back to 12ish. whats the go with that? spark plugs? anyway thanks for reading my longest post ever

got an xforce 3inch not 3.5 turbo back, looking for $400 ono and a black boot lid with series 2 spoiler, came off a 95 series 1, dunno what its worth offers around $150 maybe? also got pretty much a whole interior exculding door skins or dash trim. im in sydney near bankstown, if you want anything posted you organise a courier or what ever and its yours.

got a full 3.5 inch xforce exhaust system sitting around, its mild steel and im looking for about $400 for it. im in sydney and im not shipping it cause im a lazy ****

this is how mine is:

the stock gauge isnt in psi, its in some weird measurement that involves mercury i think. +7 on the stock gauge is about 1 bar which is almost 15psi so +4 is about 7ish psi which is stock for a 33

doesn't the 4 door have a higher roof than the 2 door?

had a 33 for a year now only thing gone wrong was a spit water line to the turbo.

ball bearing turbos have a water line as well as an oil line, so if there is 2 lines running to it good chance its a ball bearing.

maybe the seal between the pipe and bov isnt good? when i had an atmo bov on my car it statred stalling when the bov started to leak, before that no problem at all.

most fm transmitters sound pretty crap, plus then u gotta worry about batteries unless it runs off the cig lighter. then you got cables goin everywhere.

ive got a trust plumb back on my 33 with a pod and it gives a heaps diffrent sound to the stocko one, they dont all sound the same.

u could do a half half motor, 323i head and 325i bottom end. gives a 2.8lt. just goin from memory here could of been 2.7lt. and cause ure car is an 85 it dosent have a cat (well mine didnt and it was an 85 as well) so get a nice exhaust system if u havent already cause m20's sound shit hot.
