thanks guys your a credit to these forums. i'll definately try the stuff you mentioned with the locks that sounds simple enough i can hear the locks working. as for the ac i ahve run those diagnostics and tried a couple of fixes but with no sucess, im pretty sure its one of the sensors but then it comes good after a while and the control arm seems fine, maybe a job for the pro's. and the window is a load of shit, im pretty sure i could fix that if i could firgure out how to get the damn thing out but its in there good if anyone knows how?? thanks for the help again guys i'll push on:)

Hey all, ive got a 1992 model r32 gts-t. being a little older though there is afew issues with some things that are getting worn. i have attemped to fix most of it but im sick of spending my only free time on it with no results i was wondering if anyone here is able to fix them, or if you know of a good mechanic etc that can. will pay you cash in hand obviously. the issues so far are as follows: drivers side and passenger door locks - dont lock with the alarm, have to manual push button over. drivers side window - wont go down, pretty sure this is the rails. air con - no cold air, sometimes only super hot. drivers side door hinge - has dropped alot like i said ive tried my hand at all of it with no sucess and just want it done now, i live locally to frankston in victoria, any help would be great, thanks guys:)

thanks for your help guys but i give up, it seems above my head so im gonna take it round to an installer, unless anyone here local to frankston in victoria wants to earn some a little extra pocket money lol:)

thanks for the help guys, sounds like the grounding is the way to go, i'll also re wire so im away from the power cable. while were on the topic can anyone suggest a good grounding point in the boot of the r32, i just took off a couple of bolts i found attached to the chasis, cleaned off the paint and replaced. also can i use the same grounding point for both amps? cheers

hey all, was hoping someone might be able to help me with an install im currently doing. ive got a 4ch amp for front 6 inch splits and rear 6x9's and a mono amp for a 12inch sub. ive wired it all up except for the front speakers running the rca's from head unit to amp and then speaker wire from amp to speaker and am getting some massive feedback from the rear speakers, the wire's are running the same way as the amp wires and there is no issues with that. i also pulled out the rca's so there was no chace of interfearance from the power but same issue, all feedback no music. any help or pointers would be great thanks all:)

Hey all, ive been doing abit of work on the a/c of late, read everything posted regarding it i can, which was of a massive help thanks to all those who had contibuted in the past. ive come up with afew things that are making sense though: first, the control arm issue, seems ok, when running the diagnostic test it says its ok and appears to be working ok but when running the a/c it dosent appear to be far enough back(back=cold, forward=hot yes?) it does go all the way back but not when the a/c is on, can anyone confirm weather this should be the case? which leads into issue two, the sensors, the 3rd temp when running the diagnotic test shows a negative temp, but then changes its mind after afew mins and matches up with the others, i fiddled round with the resistors with no results it just bosted the temp setting when it came good, im thinking this is prob affecting issue one. is the best way to fix this to replace that faulty? all the info has been great so far but ive done it all now to no avail, if anyone could sheed any more light on the situation or has fixed the same prob that would be great, thanks:)

hey people, just wondering if anyone knows anything in regards to the air conditioning and climate control in r32's. mine just stopped working, blows cool for abit then just warm but never what u would call cold, mechanic said the air con is all good, got gas, pumping etc and could be to do with climate control, does anyone have any ideas on this at all or know a good auto elec that might be able to help? also as a side note the drivers window is also stuffing up in line with the air con which makes me think it could be electrical, which is just the most fun in cars! lol any help would be greatly appreciated:) skips:)
