Hello all as some of u know i am selling my car http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...le-t195091.html i just need a few parts to pretty it up a little... This is what i would like to get Boot carpet and wooden support parcel shelf - ideally with speaker covers if possible. and just some trimmings for in the boot side walls. (pretty much any carpet that you have in your boot i want. Its a 94 r33 4 door (not sure if the 4 door makes any difference) give me a pm or reply in here if u got anything. I would prefer to get it from Tasmania due to postage for something like this would not be worth my while seeing as they charge per size as well as weight. anyway let me know what you all got for me.. nice to see there are some posts about already... I also had a great day and i am so happy that my little buzz box didn't miss a beat. the slush box was solid as a rock, now that i have a massive trans cooler in it. I got some ok footage on video and will try and get some pics on here when i get them.. i'll also try get some vids on. (not sure how yet. i assume same as pics) the turnout was as follows: R32 GTR x2 R33 Gtst 4door x2 :laughing-smiley-014: R33 2 door x3 R32 4door x1 R32 gtst 2 door x1 S14 200sx x1 Supra x1 I would have loved to see some more hobart faces about but i am sure we will organise another meet and the next time some more ppl will come.. So all in all it was a great day and the weather could not have been any better. there were smiles all round and there were a couple of interested onlookers also.... Lastly I would like to thank everyone that came for making it a superb day

I will be letting him know... I just want to drive the car for a bit to find a feel for anything. so that i can better explain what the issue is.. Thre is no point in going there after one short drive and saying its shit.. i realise this and i dont want to do that so i figure i will be more informed after the weekend and on monday i will talk to him.

I just noticed this yesterday and i had a closer look at the graph.. If u look at the kmph down the bottom then u will notice that the max speed is 105 kmph.. To me this indicates that the whole dyno run was done in 2nd gear and only 2nd gear. My car will do about 105-110 in 2nd This seems odd to me. Maybe someone can clarify why they would run it in second.. Other than that they can lock it in gear... But would i be right in thinking that this would give a false readout of power????? due to the gearing ratio is not final gear... Correct me if i am wrong plz.. just something i noticed Also something that i noticed is that where the bump/spike whatever it is occurs the bppst goes down. how can power go up when boost goes down????

What i would do if i was u would be ring MV automatics in adelaide and ask mick there about your car. From everything i have read, heard and have been told he isthe man with auto's So i will try and lok for the number and pm it to you but in the mean time have a search for it on the forum somewhere...

It shouldn't be from the gear changes... ( i say this not having seen it on the dyno) but i am pretty sure that u can slowly take an auto through the gear without it changing gears. Over 80kph (around abouts) it should not kick back anymore

I would ahve thopught the same, but its over now and it could be coz of occupational health and saftey reasons.. Or public liability... bloody insurance companies

Well i cant speak for a R34... I don't know if the 33 and 34 are different in the auto boxes. What i heard is that there is a difference between the r33 series 1 and series 2 gearbox computers. Therefore u "supposedly" can do it in a series 1 (like what i have) but u cant in a series 2 .. I don't know anyone with a s2 auto so i could try it... A manual conversion would be expensive though.. New gearbox, tail shaft, diff and other bits and bobs i belive.. and then the labour on top of that... might get expensive

I must say that now that one, i have spent a day with the car and two, my "knickers"are unlangled... lol It does drive well. Yesterday was not the best day for having a test drive due to many things. Today i took it to work (120km's) and it seems ok (from a driving perspective) I did notice the knock sensor coming on a couple of times yesterday at strange times. One time was driving up a hill (relativly steep hill) and as i was slowing down for a T intersection the car splutterd and farted around for a couple of seconds then i backed off the throttle ASAP and it stopped.. Hasnt done anything like that since.. I do realise that it is only a figure.. and it is an auto/sedan so there would be more loss in the drive train than that of a manual so i am not unhappy about the result.. I am sure that many people would feel the same in that a little bit more communication would have gone a long way... And just one thing... i did let them know the mods i have... Anyway I can't wait for this Tassie Sau cruise thing to happen... has there been any progress with the date????? Thanks Ben
