Hey forum need some assistance from fellow skyline owners. I just installed an afc neo into my 95 r33 gts-t and all is working with it. Only prob is I put the ecu in diagnostic mode and I got either it was error code 12 or 21. I looked up the codes and 12 is for air flow meter and 21 is ignition signal. Now I have driven the car after the codes were detected and nothing seems wrong with it at all, in fact it feels more powerful and more responsive. I just wanted to know what would be the effects and/or signs if either one of those signals are correct?

Hey forum I installed a cyberdyne digital temp gauge in my 95 r33 gtst. Firstly I would like to know if you can use the temp sensor to run the digital gauge off? I spliced into the engine temp sensor and just used the first one that gave me a reading. Only prob is it went straight up to and probably pass the hi point so now it constantly says hi instead of giving the actual figure. Now the hi mark or degree is 270 degrees F and when it reaches that thats when the gauge just scrolls hi across the screen when i spliced it into the temp sensor i got a reading and it kept climbin to the 270 F then the hi started to scroll cross the gauge screen and i know tht there is noway that the water temp suppose to be that hi. So I wanted to know if i can use that sender to run a digital gauge cause I read a post where someone used it but they didn't state analog or digital plus they said to get the signal from the ecu. So in short can it work? All help is appreciated guys!!!!

Well I got it stock as a rock and been on 91 octane for a year now the boost has been up to 10 psi for about that long as well and have not had any issues thus far just wanted to take precautions as i want my ride to last but want it to perform as well. The Bahamas man! Whats also so funny is that gas is like 5 dollars a gallon and thats the type sh&% they have my car running on.

Its a 95 r33 gts-t with these mods a fmic, boosted up to 13psi, 3.5" turbo back exhaust, afc neo, and pod air filter. Everything else stock!

Hey forum whats up need you guy's help again. Let me explain I was reading in the forum where the minimum ron you should put in your car is 95, but where I live the max we have is 91:rant:!!! I kno that sucks right so I wanted to know. If it would be all right to add a bottle of octane booster to my tank everytime I full up to compensate for the sh*&&y fuel?

Hey Forum just wanted to know if you guys think this will do it. Ok got a r33 gts-t with these current mods, 3.5" catback exhaust with split 3" dump/front pipe and decat pipe, pod filter with heat shield and cold air intake, fmic, boost control running 13psi, and I have an afc neo on the way everything else is stock. I wanted to know if I will be able to attain 300hp or 230 rwkw after I tune it safely with those mods that I have maintaining the stock afm. Can it be done? If not or so what should I expect power wise? Thanks in advance for all your help!!!!

Got a project gtr that I am working on, or at least buying parts for mechanics to work on and I wanted to know if I would need a 90mm throttle body chasing 500 rwhp. Is a 90 mm throttle body needed for that hp goal or can the stock gtr throttle body be used. A penny saved is a penny earned and the more i save cuttin out things I do not need the more I can spen on things I do. Thanks in advance for the help!! Later.

In a r33 gts-t I was wondering if installing a 255 L/hr fuel pump will make any difference performance wise. Current mods fmic, pod filter, 3.5" turbo back exhaust, ebc, stage three clucth, the stock turbo at 12 psi and evreything else stock. Would the fuel pump give any performance gains?

Man and I already bought the q45 , bummer. When you say put the guts into a 4 inch pipe what do you mean? taking the sensor out the afm and placing it in a 4inch pvc or whateva material pipe you have or am i misunderstanding and you mean something else?

Ok well maybe not street friendly! lol lol but its gonna be used as a daily driver. So I just didnt want any idle problems and wanted to know if one q45 could handle 500hp.

Hey forum just a quick question was wondering if I would run into any problems with a single q45 afm on a r33 gtr with a gt35 turbo. My aim is just a street friendly car with 500hp at the wheels. Would I be better off with two z32 afms or would the q45 be alright? Just looking at the air flow metering here will have all the supporting mods just want to kno which is beter a single q45 or two z32s? All help is appreciated?

Hey forum how are ya? Wanted to know what was the best turbo setup for a r33 gtr. Looking at 450 to 500hp at all wheels. Is the twin setup better than a big single. Looking for as close to stock spool up time as possible and a good low and midrange. If staying with the twin setup i would like to know what turbos will fit back in the stock position and give the sort of power I'm looking for, it will be a daily driver seeing some drag racing time about once or twice a month. Just wanting to hear some good advice as to what setup and turbo or turbo's to get.

Do not want it just for that, Just wanted to know if I wanted to cut loose from time to time if I could with a gtr and how much awkw would it take. Just wanted the ultimate performance car that would give me the most out of my dollar and that would rival many of the evo's, supras, rx7s and mustangs we have over here basically on a stock motor. LOL how tru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok thanks for the input guys, wow guess the GTS-T is the way to go. really wanted a GTR though. So what would I need engine wise to produce 350 awkw in a GTR?

Money is here and there (meaning scarce)after I get the car might have about 5000 left for whatever upgrades that can do, but can always borrow some money to get the car where I need it to be and I am not in a rush so it doesnt all have to be one time. Its completely stock so 3000 probably going on intercooler, pfc, and exhaust. What I really want is a gtr that has 500 horses is that enuff hp to do burnouts and 360's?

Hey forum just popping in to attain some info from the experts. Just wanted to know what id=s the max hp to be expected out of a rb26dett engine? Looked and searched the forum got 400rwkw but that wasn't confirmed, so I just want to know what the awkw figure would be just with bolt-ons. Gonna get myself a GTR and just wanted to know what I can do to the stock engine power wise that will make it last as it will be a daily driver I was looking at say 373 kw at all the wheels can the stock engine handle that?

Hey forum just need a few questions answered about timing. Ok Have a 95 r33 gtst and I am thinking of changing the poncams and the cam gears what I am wondering is how do I go about setting the timing myself already looked in the tutorials and used the search function just that there a a few minor details I need answers to. 1) When you are attaching the timing light to the first cylinder you have to take the coilpack off right, so how does it fire to make the cylinder move. Where exactly do you attach that part of the light to the spark itself or the wires in the coilpack loom and when doing this is there a tool u need to attach the spark to the now removed coilpack? 2) You have to remove the gear cover to expose the belt and shine the light on it right, and when you do that what exactly are you reading or looking for? 3)How do you retard or advance it, the car is in neutral and off then you do what turn the cam gear to a certain degree that is marked on it by way of any ordinary tool or is it more to it than that? 4)Also the tomei poncams are just a drop in or bolt in application right or do u have to adjust these too? Just a few things I want to know before I invest in these items cause I think the mechanic is competent enuff to put the items in but I don't kno if he can set the timing and I wanted to be able to do adjust it a little on my own if I don't like the way the car responds after the upgrades. All help is appreciated thanks. Oh yeah I live in the Bahamas where we have no tuners so I have to learn it all on my own so thats why I want t o know how to adjust the timing.

Hey just wanted to know from a few members how the exhaust sounds and if it sounds right if not can you let me know what u think is wrong? Car is virtually stock only mods boost controller, pod filter and turbo back exhaust. Exhaust type apexi n1, 3" from turbo to catback includes a decat pipe also 3" and then a 3.5" apexi n1 catback exhust. Here is the link:

No I love how it sounds just was wondering as I thought it would be much louder. I will soon have another turbo to install and was just thinking if the exhaust note would follow the same pattern. I have a split front/dump with a screamer and when the wastegate opens, "DAMN!!!!" but during normal driving and acceleration the note is excellent just a little bit deeper than stock will try to get a sound clip for you. Ohh I live in the Bahamas by the way.

Hey forum just wanted to know if turbo size affects exhaust note. Have a turbo back system on my car and the exhaust note didn't really change got just a little deeper but basically remained the same. Its 3" front/dump and decat pipe and from the decat pipe to muffler 3.5" apexi n1 cat back then a 4.5 inch cannon at the back. I was thinking this would be extremely loud but its just as quiet as the stock muffler just a little bit deeper. Its all tied in to the stock turbo tho thats why I asked if turbo size affects exhaust note. All and any advice is greatly appreciated.

LOL lol lmao :laughing-smiley-014: thats the first thing I told him to do cause I made the same mistake, but you know how it goes first thing you want to do with a turbo is up the boost. Got hit with the more power bug I guess. THe instructions in the book are that it tells you to set the start boost function which is the boost at which the waste gate begins to open which they say should b set before the destination psi to avoid over boosting, have that set to 7psi, and then the gain function which activates how quickly or slowly the gate opens 100% fastest 1% lowest which I set to 48% I think. After a few trial and errors is how I got the numbers anything over 7 for the start boost on the low boost side and the ebc's boost guage goes above 10 at 7 once you are accelerating I saw it get to 10 but never above a couple a times. But it does spike cause I have the warn set at 15 psi and it activates. Like I stated earlier I never see it during a run but when i look at the peak and last boost its there plain as day so I figure it has to be that surge during gear changes. What do u think?
