Hey there forum a help is needed. I have a 95 gtst and I freshly installed a pit boost controller unit(bcu). It reads boost has two stages of boost hi and low and records peak boost, last boost and warns when overboosting. I have my loboost setting at 11psi my waste gate starts to open at 4psi and over boost warning at 16psi.Neway my question is does neone kno how to tune this in order to prevent over boosting cause if i redline in first i get like 18 psi running thro the stock turbo and I was wondering if this is normal cause in the higher gears 3rd onward i never get over 11 which is great but i was wondering if this first gear spike is normal or doI have more finetuning to do.If so what do i do. There is also a feature called gain on the device which supposedly opens the wastegate quicker or slower depending on how you tune it 100% being the quickest and 1 % being the slowest I have it tuned for 50%. If neone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Good day forum I have a 95 gtst and was wondering what the voltage should look like after a grounding kit and stabilizer are installed. I recently installedboth and when i check the voltage when cold the volatge is in the 14's after warming up it fluctuates between 13.4 and 13.9 and if im driving with the ac on full blast the high beams on the interiors on and my radio on dont have an amp setup but do have component speakers that use a pionner head unit at 50 *4 it will drop to around 12 but never below im wondering if this is good or bad. Cause i read where guys do not drop below 13.8 13.9 after installing a grounding kit with amps and all the other electonics running. Since the battery is located in the back trunk I attached the mount that suppose to be on the negative side of the battery terminal to the plenum and then I attached the rest of the points to there respective positions in the engine bay and the stabilizer is also attached correctly are my readings normal or do i have a prob. Any help would b greatly appreciated thank you.

Good day to all I'm having a problem with a rim and tire setup I put on and was wondering if anyone knows of a fix. First I have a 95 r33 gts-t and i put on some sick 18 inch rims the are 7.5 wide with a 20mm offset sittin on 235 40 18 tires. The ride is crazy hype The prob i am having is whenever i hit a dip in the road or cut the wheel to the max i get rubbing if its only me in the ride and i go over a speed bump no rub but with an extra person i get a rub and if only me and i hit a dip in the road it rubs. It always rubs when i cut the wheel to the max so i wanted to kno if neone knows a solution for this that wont cause me alot of money.

Thanks man your the best

Hey thanks for the pdf but what I wanted to know was where is the loom for that sensor located in the engine bay the sensor that goes to the ecu.
-
Oh ok thanks What about an engine coolant temp sensor or the loom for it.
-
Hey forum whats up? I need a favor does ne1 have any idea where the inlet air temp sensor is located or where the loom is for it. Car is kinda sluggish and I just wanted to give it a good clean while i am cleaning the air flow meter with some electrical contact cleaner to see if that would help. I have a r33 2.5 gts-t any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

So keep as is with the 40 mm offset or go for the 20mm offset. If i go for the 20mm will there be any clearance issues. will i have to do any mods like rolling the guard and stuff with the 20mm offset or will it sit nicely also i wanted to know with the 40 mm offset will it sit flush with the fender or will it still be sitting inside the fender cause i want it to be flush so it can look kind of wide.
-
the offset is 20mm. If I keep the rims as is will the 18 * 7.5 rims sit nicely on my stock skyline or will they look small and skinny the tire profile is 235 40 18
-
Buying rims for my 95 r33 gts-t was wondering if ne1 knows if a rim that is 18 * 7.5 with 235 20 18 tires will fit with no mods to the guards or anything. Going to get them from overseas in about 5 hours so if ne1 knows anything please let me know thanks in advance.

Hey guys I was just wondering if I could ask for a little help. I am looking into buying rims for my 95 r33 gtst but I have very little experience in doing so. The guy to the store told me to come back with offset and rim dimensions so he can help me but I dont know what he was talking about. I saw a set of racing rims that I wanted and this is what I got from them they are 18 by 7.5 5-100/114.3 -40-bk with tires with the following numbers 235/40/18 I want to know if these will fit my car and also whats the offset on them and if the will look wider than the stock rims as thats the kind of look I am going for a wider look doesnt have to be extremly wide just noticabley different. thanks all help is appreciated.

also when regassed most of the previous gas was let out by mistake dont know if it was all, attached hose without refill bottle on next end resulting in the gas being let out, then two 12ounce cans (340 grams a piece) of the 134a were put back into the system could the problem be too much gas should i try letting some of it out. If so how do i go about doing this with car and ac on or just letting some of it out with the car off be good enuff?
-
yea there is gas in the system. i checked the diagnostics all is well checked the sensor on the left side of the steering wheel and cleaned it but still no cold air. i noticed the compressor comes on but then immediately cuts off what causes this and when it cuts on for that split second the little glass window that you check the gas level with is empty when it cuts out it fills up with a white fluid. can my compressor be shot? that would be a bummer cus i was using the ac all this week with no problems. decided to put more gas in it cause it wasnt cold enuff and now it doesnt cool at all. if i let the car sit for awhile and then cut it on with the ac it starts off like its about to cool but after about 30 seconds of that the compressor just keeps cuttin in and out.
-
Hey there. I just need some help from you guys with my ac please. I recentlybought a 95 r33 gtst skyline and my first question is if this type of skyline's ac runs off the 134a or the r12? Next the ac wasnt getting cold enuff for me, it was cooling but just not getting cold, so I decided to add more gas to it, i added the 134a and it immediately felt cooler now i have been running the ac for a day now and it blows nothing but hot air I did the diag nostic test and dont know what the results or what im even lookin for all the leds work i figured that out when i put it to 2 i get 20 when i put it to three i get 30 4 i get 41 and 5 nothing happens then six is a setting that you can adjust does ne1 know what this means. also when i tried to gas it first i put the hose on and let out most of the air that was already in it then i added two 12ounce cans of the 134a and it cooled for like a day very very cold i just went on a trip after playing with the diagnostic test and it is now blowing strictly hot air. Can ane1 offer ne solutions.

Let's Race!!! LOL Look at you now Mr. "Respect your ride blah blah blah." Ha I have notime to waste on "Whales" or a "Stagea" if you didnt know, and their childish comments all I wanted was info on my ride and what to expect with my mods against a modded civic. Instead I got a PUNK trying to diss I'm done arguing with you and for your info my first mod was 3" exhaust system from the dp back with a 3.74" tip, this makes no sense. If anyone has anything positive to assit please respond if not keep it to yourself. Thank You.

Like I stated I don't know everything IDIOT thats why I joined the forum to learn. You know nothing and I bought a skyline because I WANTED ONE. As far as my ride it will be around as long as me and probably longer than your,LOL LOL LOL STAGEA. A$$HOLE get a clue and a real car buddy. If you are targeted for carrying your car to the tracks and running it to see how well it does then you are more of a FOOL than I presumed. I bought a performance car for that reason for it to perform everyone in this forum bought a skyline, well except you of course, and modded them because they kno exactly what they are capable of doing. I kno that they run them and test their performance level if not all the time often they didnt buy one just to cruise with and as long as I am doing it safely I will never see a prob with me testing the performance level of my skyline and will continue doign so and if you have a prob with that go f@#k yourself wanker.
-
LOL Well thats your opinion. Y would I go through all of this it isn't like this is the best of conversation. What are you talking about you know nothing the civic is a challenge you idiot. I don't know everything about skylines but I kno that I wanted one, got one and I kno enuff to get by thats why I joined the forum to learn all I can about my ride. You just read the previous post and decided to comment and show how stupid you really are read all of it then talk to me chump as for what I paid for it alot less than you could get one for, hmmm probably why you drive a stagea.. AS FOR THE BOOST PRESSURE WASN'T PLUCKED WAS SUGGESTED BY FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS TO MAKE THE STOCK TURBO LAST.
-
Hey Godzilla I think it was me, but I wasn't demanding you guys just took it the wrong way I even came back and apologized if i offended any1. Like you said was a first post and didn't know there were so many pansies in the forum cus looks like they are still carrying a grudge for that. To comment on what you said that I need to grow up thats rich I'm not the one with all the stupid comments and advice. I thought the forum was here to help noobs, semi, expert skyline owners learn and understand more about there car. All I am doing is testing the performance level of my ride and all who have a prob with it can kiss my a$$. A guy with a modified honda civic wanted to run against my line so I accepted and came to the forum to find out if it will be a good race or a blow out and who the advantage will go to but everyones a smart a$$ and a critic so they have their 2 cents to add. I heard that a civic with a prelude h22 engine and the right mods wont be so easy to beat and thats what he has under the hood with an exhaust and racing headers, I think thats all his mods and i just wanted to kno if the mods I made will be able to run with or put up a lower time than him. Thats all, but as you can see little advice just a bunch of clowns.

Ok so Dont get he heavy shockproof for my problems get the lightweight? Also I see that redline has a superlight gear oil would this be better or just stick with the lightweight? What appilcation if not for my problem would the heavy shockproof gear oil be recommened for?
-
REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a bunch Sheriffwan will do!!!! You are the best mansharing secrets with me and all shucks .
-
Wow how gracious of you lol lol lol. Thought you were a skyline fan instead of helping you want me to lose. LOL Thats Great. Didn't really take a look at his engine but I heard him mention something bout h22 blah blah blah all I know for sure is its a hatchback civic has a prelude engine and the exhaust has been changed from just looking and hearing it. Lets say he has the civic you and motoman described with all the right mods. What all mods what I need to run with him. I have a few mods that I am having installed wanted to kno if that will be enuff. Got a boost controller and its tuned to 10.5 psi with no problems wondering if the turbo will hold up for 5 runs, changed the headers 1 5/8" tube diameter 6 -1 and then the exhaust from the dp back 3", installed a cold air intake 4"dia filter with 3" tubing plus heat shield and removing all seats except driver and getting it tuned today didnt get a chance to run it and record a time but it feels more responsive/powerful and with a tune should be running at peak with all the mods. Race is Sunday Folks!!!! So you don't have to wonder won't be any crashes either at least not from me and i will let you all know how it went.

Nice really loving the skyline the rims are sick. The 18's really do fill it out better that does it im gonna go 18's and see how it works. Keeping the stock rims for that drag strip.
-
Cool thanks for the input. Yea certain places the roads are a bit bumpy so I'm thinking ill try the 18's and if it doesn't workout get the 17's. Hey no1 said anything about performance whts the performance like on 18's and 17's which one is better.
-
Going to purchase some rims for my 95 gts-t and was wondering what would be the best size to maitain performance but still give it that killer look. Was pondering between 18's and 17's and was wondering which one suits it best with no severe side effects like rubbing on turns or when you have more than two people in the car. really wanted the 18's but will get the 17's if the are easier on the ride. Just wanted an idea of rim width, tire selection and to hear some of the experiences people of the forum have with there rim size selection. Oh yea the roads overe here are not that great many places I go will have sort of a bumpy ride as some of the roads are horrible. All opnions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Hey forum just wanting to know whats the next best gear oil to get as my car has started to crunch just a bit from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. It started happening after I changed my gear oil and I was told the other oil I put in may have been to thick. I put in castrol 80w 90 it was suggested that I put in a thinner oil preferrably the redline lightweigh shockproof oil but I'm in the Bahamas and I cant find it anywhere I wanted to know how thin on the weight oil I should go and if putting in a gear oil additive would help I see that lucas has one that I could add to the next set of gear oil I put in wanted to kno if that was a good or bad idea as well?
