  1. yeah thanks mildman, and they have the discs for my car, will check out costs etc. might get em done soon!
  2. what i meant was dont brake late into the corners thinkin u will make it, $5000 brakes dont mean that ur car will stop if u push the pedal! but its ur choice ppls if u want to **** ur car up have fun doin it. when i was there an R32 GTR was on the track, he ran out of brakes and almost hit a wall. If u want to be ignorant and think ur all that slip then ok go ahead all i know is that i did not make a ridiculous comment!
  3. mines 12 cm and my car is lowered 1.5 inch, u must have a pretty big pipe eh! im NA so only 2.5 inch pipe unlike some 5 inch pipes ive seen around on sum lines
  4. they are usually legal height, depends on bodykit etc. my cars lowest point is 12 cm its been lowered 1.5 inch, i want to lower the front an inch more that should be legal so unless u really want to slam it, performace susp. will not mean lower then legal
  5. well i know for sure koni is like one of the best brands around, sum manufaturers use them standard on upper model cars cos they specialise in adjustables and performance. Great to play with
  6. 13 000 will get u a bomb Skyline, move ur budget up a bit! specially if u want it with bodykit/mags etc. dont even think bout 13k for R34
  7. rms is the regulated sumthing sumthing or normal power output, id say its 80 MAX, about 30-40 RMS
  8. if its $40 ull most likely be doing the short track which should se about 40-45 second laps, be warned do not use ur brakes too much cos last time i was there a guy rolled his car, and a few others hit the walls in their beautiful wrx's and liners! id say spectators are free. I wont be going was at darlington park yesterday racing M3's around sweet sweet 200km/h
  9. ronin wats the height between ur zorst and the ground ? is it legal, it looks pretty low.
  10. lol @ red's response, can u smell a burning smell, its like a yucky odour. its natural for a clutch to slip sumtimes, mines slipped 3 times but it has no problems, its just the wrong technique of lifting ur left foot really. It sounds like urs is ok though
  11. My mech. had a look at my suspension and found i have nolathane bushes, and apparently i can adjust my control arms or sumthing! does this mean i can get more toe-in and camber etc ? i have no clue wat he was on about really. Ne knowledge would be greatly appreciated
  12. strut bars arent really nescesary (spelling) but if u did get one, maybe an aluminium one or sumthing that is not adjustable. expensive ones arent really worth the extra unless its frotrack use mainly. The suspension setup sounds good if ur thinking of koni, otherwise i dont know wat conia is
  13. the pads were brand new when i got the discs machined, they hadnt been bedded in yet. The machining took the squeal away after the track day they started to squeak again. The calipers are fine, dont need a rebuild, its most likely the discs are quite thin so theres still abit of warp in them. I will live with it for now as its on and off thing (hard metalic pads create squeaks) im looking to upgrade to GTS-T brakes in the future without a stud conversion, the calipers can bolt straight on, they are just fatter and i might need new wheels Thnkas for the help ppls, Ben i dont think i will buy them, thanks neways im not sure if the GTS-T discs are much bigger? as the pads are the same size Roy- i always drive around the track again using no brake to cool them down and i dont use the handbrake to park either, but its only the fronts which squeak, id say its the thin discs and new pads. with the standard pads i used them twice on the track and they were gone, ive used the race brakes once and they havent even lost a mm and that was real hard braking
  14. lol i got ABS it doesnt work its better with out it neway
  15. U get my approval hehe, nice!
  16. can u give me an exat price on insurance for u ? i like the power figures, thats heaps good. Ill have to talk to dad about it seeing as its an import, i own an R33 dont know if i should go down to R31 turbo or not. Thanks for the info
  17. lol @ bryan, i understand ur poor mate
  18. silencers dont always work, al they really do is restrict flow, hence making less noise
  19. i dont use caltex vortex only, i use mainly BP ultimate, but i tried caltex vortex and it seems to be fine, no problems etc.
  20. is this an import ? if so wat is insurance like if u know? also what were the dyno figures? may be interested
  21. lol funny
  22. Caltex Vortex Gold is very good too! my car has been running great on it, better then optimax
  23. hmm bryan i might buy the headunit off ya but i aint gonna pay ya $70 (mates rates) this aint definate i just might want to use it until i fix my sony shit lol
  24. where are they located ?
  25. i agree with NA_33, judging ppl on the puter is not the way to go, and RB25, yes i know its easy to manage the power, i had to use sumthing against that dude though
