  1. There are entrapment (common) laws in Australia, but the consensus as to what actually amounts to entrapment and when it is justified is rather ambiguous. Consider that recent terrorism cases have relied heavily on entrapment, the concept enjoys strong judicial backing. I can't see it being justified in the case of traffic infringements but good luck proving that you were entrapped in the first place haha! Word of police officer vs word of Skyline driving hoon.

Blue R34 GTR @ Docklands yesterday. Volk GTCs and LED Taillights. Looked really nice.
  3. Playing the game some more, have come to realise: Dudley overrated, once his tactics are worked out, he is easy to tie down, so he needs his high damage output just to remain competitive. Akuma/Ryu still up there, Sagat is crap. Rufus is better too, so is Chun Li. Guile is amazing, they made him so much better. Awesome character to just turtle with and frustrate others.
  4. Just be aware that some sellers do not allow a test drive until a deposit is paid. From my experience in selling a lot of my Jap cars now, you get a lot of peasants rock up that just want to take the car for a squirt. I always say no and the look on their face changes immediately if they are time wasters. Oh AND if you are coming a 2nd time, better bring a deposit, or don't come at all. lol. As you can see, I am not a fan of time-wasters.
  5. I've been many times, it doesn't hurt at all, just a little prick, then you feel nothing. I can't go anytime soon however, due to being on medication. But it is a great initiative to see.
  6. Edge Motorworks Campbellfield Call Barry: 0401 300 028, not sure of the shop number.
  7. I think the advice to stick to big compounds is given assuming a young male wants to get bigger, leaner, stronger and so on. All you need to do is tweak your diet. I'd say 90% of guys who train want to get bigger and leaner. Those who say they are happy to stay lean and small, lie, they want to get bigger. Those who say they are happy bulky and big, lie, they want to get leaner. Those in the middle are rapt lol. Obviously if you want to be a marathon runner or a swimmer, muscle mass isn't a big factor, then your training would deviate from standard bodybuilding and powerlifting compound movement techniques.
  8. Those exercises are the key to any workout regime, bodybuilding or power lifting, just customise according to need.
  9. It does not ALL work. Other then that, you raise valid points. I guess it is just annoying to see people who haven't achieved much themselves, forwarding crappy advice. Be it at the gym, or in this thread, or life in general actually lol!
  10. With that sort of program, focusing on compound movements, it IS fact. If you aren't recovering in a few days, you aren't eating enough. If you are a hard gainer, eating more means eating a lot more.
  11. Depends on the definition of standard diet i guess. One thing is for sure, more protein is better than less. In terms of cost, eggs are really cheap. So is milk. We don't need to be chomping on chicken breast all the time (although, variety is always nice).
  12. No school like old school. The oldies and pros have been taking 2g per pound of bodyweight since wayyyyy back. It works. Current guidlines for the general public cannot be applied to athletes. Just like current weight and BMI guidlines. So agree with GTST on this one. Also the claims of kidney damage have been strongly disproved, check out PubMed.
  13. 10k absolute max if you are lucky. 7.5-8k sounds about right.
  14. My R32 GTR had a VL alternator fitted. You need to do some minor fiddling with the wiring but it works perfectly.
  15. For rehab and n00bs, light weights will make you stronger. You won't be strong in the relative sense of the word (i.e you will still be considered weak), but you will get stronger than you were before. If you are fit and healthy, the general rule is, go heavy compounds for size and strength. I think we can all agree on that one.
  16. When it comes to GTRs I personally prefer R32s and R34s. But who can say no to a midnight purple R33 GTR? Not I.
  17. Got small shoulders? Clean and Press= boulder shoulders. Got small legs? 20 rep squats.
  18. Until early 2011, after that I will be qualified to do my own thing. Can't be stuffed working for firms anymore, so my friend and I are going to take a gamble and see how our business venture pans out. Like I said before, we will float details on here as things start happening.
  19. Not at the moment, we just work like peasants for firms haha, being Lawyer n00bs and all. But once we are able to start our own firm, hopefully it will be geared towards helping out the car enthusiast community (and motorists in general). haha sounds good! Hopefully we can get the ball rolling soon enough....
  20. We are seriously considering it. At this stage, the earliest it would be up and running is during the first few months of 2011, after we have completed our mandatory legal experience. We are going to start to study the relevant legislation and hopefully we can get something going with SAU backing (and maybe other car clubs will jump onboard too). Watch this space.
  21. No amount of detailing can make a crappy paintjob look good.
  22. There can always be mitigating circumstances..... However, when it comes to speeding fines etc, it is generally a lost cause. Once we get our crummy legal experience out of the way, a friend of mine and I are considering starting up a Law firm with a focus on traffic infringements, defect/EPA notices etc. Should be fun!
  23. Nice work. At first I was like...why did you take pics of your roof (the roof of your house)....then I jerried that it was the reflection LOL!
