  3. Wow good news. I have the same problem, annoying, isn't constant but it does occur randomly from time to time, while cruising only under very soft acceleration.
  4. You don't need to experiment. Stick to the basic exercises, no need for 'hundred upon thousands' of them when the strongest and biggest men in the world stick to a basic few compound movements with a bit of isolation work. Further, copying someones routine so you end up looking like them is very silly, genetics play a huge role and you need to train according to how YOUR body responds, not how you have seen someone elses respond (unless they are your brother hehe, then it would be a fair assumption to operate under). That said, if you copy a good routine based on the core compound movements, it will work for 99% of people, you'll get bigger/stronger but probably won't end up looking much like the guy next to you on the same routine.....
  5. Yeah, twin platers can be a bit harder to take off in. Only way to tell 100% is by dropping the box and checking it out lol, i.e don't worry about it. Did you ask the previous owner? If it makes a loud metal grounding sound whenever the clutch is engaged, chances are it is a twin plate clutch (or triple who knows.)
  6. The company is legally entitled to make the debit on the agreed date between both parties, whether or not this falls on a business day is irrelevant. (But realistically speaking, the debit is usually made on the next business day.)
  7. So it doesn't make the sound when engaged in 1st, 2nd etc? If it does, could possibly be a twin plate clutch. Basically a grinding metal sound.
  8. I'm not 100% sure, but I think its the exhaust/cat sensor light. Which means either something is wrong there, or if you have a PowerFc, it is indicating knock.

    Defected

Thread covering this issue: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Vi...se-t281568.html General consensus, just rip off the sticker. Why would you get a RWC and report to Vicroads? I also saw this defect station, too bad for the cops that my car is already defected. lol.
  11. Yeah they are some Chinese brand. I didn't even know about the Philips ones. Also manual boost controller....not rw?

Black 32 GTR, custom plates (didn't see them though) getting defected in the same spot I did 10 mins earlier on Taylors Road.
  13. Hey guys, Got defected last night for: -Manual Boost Controller in engine bay - HID headlights with 'no washers.' The cop was a prick, "I wont defect you for the air pods." Me "Because they're legal mate." I think he is right with the boost controller and HID's but? Sigh.

    Derailed 200sx

Saw this also, don't know how he managed to do that! The car was literally lodged on these massive boulders on the golf course. Can't picture how it might have happened.
  15. A lot of people struggle with twin plate clutches, i learnt to drive mine 100% within a few hours. It just takes a bit of getting used to, that said, some people cannot drive certain clutches for the life of them. All I can say is keep at it.
  16. First car I had was a N/A R33 on my L's. Piece of crap. Slow as hell and doesn't handle that great, i'd get depressed everytime I heard a GTS-T spooling. If you want a Skyline, go a turbo model, don't bother with a N/A.
  17. Without going too deep into this discussion, I'd like to refute on my part the ridiculous claims that race is a determinative factor in crime. How can race be a factor? Is crime a genetically inherent trait? Is there a greater genetic propensity towards crime if a person is of a particular ethnicity? No. I do agree there there are certain ethnicities that are more inclined to engage in crime when compared to others, but ethnicity is not the causative factor, to argue such presents truly fallacious logic and depicts implicit racism. Crime is multi-factorial in nature and is largely underpinned by socio-economic status. Chances are, crime is more acceptable/normal in certain areas of Melbourne, where the majority of residents are not Anglo-Saxon Australian, the fact that they are of a particular ethnicity is ancillary to the true factors that cause crime, i.e poverty, social attitudes, youth culture and discipline, law enforcement policy and so on.
  18. That's the easy part. There are 11ty billion 33s in Melbourne. Too many r33s + recession= Buyers market. You can be picky as. Just get it thoroughly checked out by a reputable workshop prior to purchase and you should be sweet.
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html 15k will land you a very nice, clean R33 GTST with some tasteful mods. A few more grand and you can even get yourself a nice R34 GT-T.
  20. $1000 is too much. Sure GTR turbos are hard to change and there are some known issues (i.e such as bolts snapping= headache.) It isn't easy. Shop around. Call this number: 0401 300 028 (Barry from Edge Motorworks) Say you got the number from Ali.
  21. Having owned 3 GTRS (each one requiring a rebuild) I can tell you, 9k is a fair figure for a good rebuild. Can be done as cheap as 4-5k for a cheapish build, but for it to be done properly, it is worth spending the extra 3k and not having to stress because you cheaped out. Issues i've had with GTRs: -Engine failure. -Dead turbos (ceramic wheels migrate south -Clutch failure. -Worn suspension. - Stuffed AFM. General maintenance is high, but once you get things sorted, they aren't too bad. Once you get things sorted. I've been lucky with gearboxes for some reason.
  22. I haven't really heard other twin plates to compare, but I'm pretty sure the ORC is very noisy lol. So that's a no go if noise is a big issue for you. When engaged, it sounds like a violent metal explosion waiting to happen (but I love it.)
  23. As above, could be a screwed bearing. Just to cover all possibilities, you sure it isn't the normal twin-plate sound? (Does it only make the sound when engaged?)
  24. lol, mate your clutch is fried, you need a new clutch, it is that simple. Twin plate is overkill for such low power. Clutches: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ch...us-t200652.html
