  1. Stick to a heavy duty single unless you are making some decent power. (Excedy clutches are pretty good imo.)
  2. ^^^^ Haha forgot to mention the sound, its pretty noisy but i haven't really heard other twin plates to compare. I like the sound, sounds 'tuff.'
  3. ah ok looks like the cable is snapped. Will have to chase it up with wreckers first. Thanks guys.
  4. I have an ORC (ogura) Twin Plate in my GTR. LOVE IT. Not too bad to drive, very bitey.
  5. Thanks for all that Ash! Appreciate it. I'll let you guys know how I go.
  6. In depth description from NS: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=389127
  7. Pretty much, like there is no apparent mechanism for the lid to latch on to (looks like its collapsed or fallen out?)
  8. Thanks for that, can't get naked ADSL in my area. Will get that VOIP router if i end up going with VOIP. Also, TPG site says I have ADSL 2 in my area, but iinet says I do not. Is that possible? Wanted to go with iinet but might have to go with TPG if iinet do not have ADSL2 in my local exchange.
  9. Hey guys, My petrol tank lid won't close, I'm scared someone might steal my fuel or sabbotage it. How do I fix this? Do I need a new mechanism etc? Help appreciated. Thanks. Ali.
  10. Thanks for that guys, will probably give them a call to sort it out. Looks good. EDIT: More n00b questions. At this stage I have nothing, am I better off buying a modem from them, or buying my own? It would need to be wireless capable and VOIP capable. I don't really download too much, but would like to get my PS3 hooked up to the net (which is wireless I assume lol or do I need to by something for this as well?)
  11. So I'm looking at iinet plans and this might be a n00b question. How does VOIP work? Is it just like a normal phone (or is it crummy quality?) Because if it is bad quality, would rather pay extra for a normal phone. Further, do i need a special modem for it to work? (I will need to buy a new modem for ADSL 2 anyway)

x2. Everyone I know that has eaten from this place says it is the best in Melbourne (and I am not exaggerating!)
  13. As if you sold the GTR man! You put a lot into that thing. Oh wells, you have to show me the XR6 Turbs when you get your hands on it, sounds nice.

  17. World famous giant killer. Everyone wants to have a look!
  18. 1: Some blatant double standards in this thread. 2: I doubt the general public will really identify the SAU sticker, to them, it is just another sticker. That is all.
  19. Hey guys, Can I use the standard thrust bearing for an R32 GTR with ORC twin plate? Reason I ask is because the clutch was working fine, started grinding on take off and would not launch properly (would bog down and yes I know how to launch a GTR.) Intestingly, the car would take off fine if on a slight upward angle (say 20 degrees.) I decided to drop the box. So the mechanic has replaced the spiggot bearing, but is saying the standard thrust bearing is too short, need an ORC one. Is that right? Or could the issue have just been the spiggot bearing, or something else? Do I use the standard bearing and hope for the best? What else shoudl we try? I would hate for the grinding on take off to come back, or for the car to bog down on launch again! Thanks Ali.
  20. Thanks man, do you know if the ORC/OS thrust bearings are similar?
  21. Hey everyone, I need a thrust bearing for a Twin Plate Ogura Racing Clutch (r32 GTR), where can I source one in Vic? (or even interstate). Yes have tried searching. Thanks, Ali

Black 32 GTR, Collins Street maybe 20mins ago. Custom plates with 34 GTR rims.
  23. Yeah I live like 20mins from Thommo. If I train there, I train at around 10pm or even at midnight if im in the mood for a late night session, because I only go when my local gym is closed. Pretty dead at that time.
  24. Are you on NS? Check out the fitness section there it is quite good. Read the stickied threads. You really should start deadlifts, squats, military press from the outset. The deadlifts too early thing is a rumour. I train in Taylors Lakes (crappy day spa gym). Sometimes at Thommo 5 Star, were it closer to my home would go there everyday its awesome. You?
  25. Yeah fair enough. Your training isn't fantastic though. Where is the deadlifting and military pressing? You've been training for 1 year and have poor lifts, ofcourse you aren't ready for the gear lol. Yeah the trainers are crap and useless at most gyms (particularly FF etc.) Besides, I don't need help with learning an exercise etc, I usually need help with plateau busting, for example improving my deadlift (I was stuck on 200kgs for a fair bit), a trainer at my gym wouldn't know this (actually i doubt they could deadlift in the first place.) Get Dymatize Elite, around 115 bucks for around 5kgs is the cheapest u can get it.
