I agree. The dangers of drink driving are obvious. Zero tolerance for alcohol and driving will go a long way in eliminating the problem. I don't drink and drive, the fact that some clown could get smashed and then clean me up at an intersection annoys me.

I would say the R33 GTSt is the best choice, in terms of balance between purchase price, cost of maintenance and performance. That is the reason why they are so common. Great car and bang for buck. Ofcourse, an R32 GTR would be a good choice as well, if you can afford the maintenance and have extra cash for when stuff breaks......

errrrr the sound an RB25 makes? Saw a 4 door 34 in the city last night, I think the plates RB26N1, had team ignite stickers. Also saw a Lamborghini Orange r33 GTR with white rims. Nice car!

I agree with the general consensus. R34>R32>R33.

OK. So this whole debate stems from whether the truck driver ought to have swerved or at least realised the GTR was over the line and thus avoid collision. This is fallacious logic, the law cares not if the GTR was 1cm over the line, or in the middle of the bloody intersection. The truckie had the right of way, he could have intentionally not braked, you may argue he owes a duty of care to other motorists in that he should avoid a collision, this is true, but if the truckie argues he could not have braked, game over. Point being, all you clowns saying take it to court, or that it was the Truckies fault etc, are making an unsubstantiated argument.

I don't get why anyone would park their car outside anyways in Melbourne these days (unless ofcourse you don't have a garage etc.) Mine are always parked in the garage, blocked of by cars of lesser value, the fence is padlocked and I have an over-protective Rottie... Call me a bit paranoid, but at least I know no damage/theft will occur. Why take the chance?

Hmmm my car is purple with R34 GTR rims, here is what it looks like (haven't got clearer shots of the rims don't take photos often but you get the idea.....) Most people reckon they look good. BUT, now I reckon just keep the TE-37s or our cars would look too similar lol.

I chose R34 GTR rims!. They look awesome on R32 GTRs, pretty much on any colour. Here is the picture that finalised my decision (for the life of me I could not find this kit in Australia prior to my respray )

****SPOILER****** I noticed that the GTR was 4th and the car that was 5th had the same time. So how do they differntiate which car comes 4th and which comes 5th? Does it go by price or date or what?

I thought a supercar is defined as any car that can go from 0-100km/hr in less than 4 seconds. Not sure how true this is.

Hey, I suppose the V6 Legnum has more power and low down torque, the Stageas being RBs probably more top end? I haven't driven a Stagea before so not sure how I could compare handling, that said, the Legnum handles quite well and the AYC is a nice system. Parts back up I'd say Stageas would be better, more parts available and some are interchangeable with Skylines. Fuel economy again no idea, but the Legnum is pretty good itself. Only way to find out would be to check both cars out and see which you prefer. Thanks, Ali.
