  1. Sorry mate. I'm after cash now.
  2. Hey mate, they look HOT. Nice buy. Hypothetically speaking, lets say someone knows someone who owns a leather factory overseas. How could they obtain the exact measurements required, for say, an R32 GTR or R34 GT-T? If only i could get exact numbers! PS. My uncle owns a leather factory in Pakistan.
  3. Get a GTO. Quick and Stylish. cough. lol.
  4. lol. We have a lot of lardos. 3 hours? WTH.
  5. lol. I'm not about to do that mate.
  6. PMs replied. Up for sale again, last sale fell through.
  7. Nice car. *shameless plug* I have one for sale If anyones interested contact me!!
  8. Hmm the hospital is very close to my house. Sounds pretty tragic but you can't put the Skyline driver at fault straight away. Blast the media for targetting Skylines again!!!
  9. This hospital is like 5-10 mins away from my house. AND....today the news identified the car as a "Nissan GTR" Channel 10, Herald Sun. Sigh. Up goes my P Plater insurance again.
  10. There ARE some nice cops out there. I've been pulled over stacks of times, usually "random" checks and have been defected a few times as well, but the power to weight rule has NEVER come up. I'm assuming either the cops that pull me over don't know what the car is (unlikely) or they know i'll drive the car anyway so no point. I like the "bridging the gap" idea. If cops showed that they can understand the enthusiasts point of view, there would be peace. lol. But at times, it seems they are manipulated by the public view of "hoons" so they'd rather pull over a "sporty looking" Skyline, over say a 1985 Holden "xxxxx" with bald tryes, rust, no exhaust etc. Oh an TracidTrax the whole defect/getting pulled over thing sucks, but we all go through it. That's part of owning an import!
  11. Although the laws in theory are great.......in reality, they won't be. These laws vest too much power in the police, everybody knows about POs tendencies to abuse their discretionary powers (some, not all.) I believe most POs will have formed a stereotypical image of a "P Plater Hoon in a Turbo Jap Car." So as someone mentioned above, the slightest loss of traction will result in punishment! Oh an in terms of cops abusing their powers, I was pulled over because I did a burnout apparently, in my AWD GTR....then it turned out that I was actually pulled over for a "random check" and the car next to me might have done the burnout. I guess my point is that these laws need to be regulated properly, there needs to be some sort of mechanism to prevent abuse of power. Also, in terms of permanent confiscation on the 3rd strike.....well let's just say I can see the number of pursuits (and pursuit related accidents and fatalaties) going up.
  12. When I was looking for an FD there nobody was complying them in Vic. You had to go to QLD or NSW for compliance. Don't know if that's changed recently, so I bought a 34 GT-T instead (still in Japan.) So yeah, if you want to import one you might need to get it complied interstate. Too much of a hassle. Edit: Yup, that's still the case. Just checked the RAWS site. Compliance available in NSW and WA only.
  13. Happy Birthday man! Sorry I know I'm late lol. I just checked out the Vic section now. So I really can't say have a good one.....hmmm. lol Hope you had a good one?
  14. After reading this entire thread I have 3 things to say, after a good laugh: 1: Anjoo, you are an arrogant prick. I do not need to elaborate on that. Reading your posts makes me want to punch you in the nose. 2: Don't expect an A, B, C.....or D for your English exam. 3: If someone just threw a ciggarette into your car, damn you must look like a pussy. lol. You should have pulled over, got your head kicked in, then at least your car wouldn't have been smashed. I believe that you may have crashed, but I also believe that some of the details of your story are just crap. Arrest on the grounds of reckless endangerment? The police don't just arrest people that commit traffic offences you know, it's not like this was some sort of pursuit! Trust me, I'm still in Law school and this stuff is fresh in my head. oh and finally thanks heaps for making my P Plater insurance premiums go up. How the hell did you get your lisence?
  15. Quick Release Steering Wheel. Remove steering wheel, store it away. Only way to steal the car is via tow.
  16. BumP. Need to pay for the GT-T
  17. It looks awesome. Now....how to get a home loan?
  18. I'm just messn with ya. I like Volvos.
  19. Unless he's old, I don't think he'd want a Stagea. lol
  20. I agree with the rest, go the R34 GT-T. Doesn't go as hard as a GTR or RZ, but it looks awesome, is practical, cheaper to run and won't break. Therefore, you won't have to pour money into it. Tough choice though.
  21. PMs replied. I will def. buy them this coming week.
