  1. haha exactly. A donut is a donut....and I've been to America.
  2. Hey guys, Basically after a set of forged pistons for an RB26 to suit an R32 GTR. Also need a better oil pump. I'm in Melbourne. Thanks, Ali.
  3. Hey mate sorry to hear, I'll keep a look out I'm in the area often. Yeah you should have a good alarm, but other things help as well. I've probably mentioned this 10 times now, but a detachable quick release steering wheel is the go. Cars are VERY hard to steal without a steering wheel!! A mate of mine has a Viper alarm which calls u when triggered, the quick release steering wheel, he also unplugs the airflow metre. It seems a bit overboard, but worth it if your car is gonna be out of sight for a long time. Anyways mate I'll let you know if i see the car, or if someone starts selling cheap parts. Ali. PS: Just thought i'd add that my 180sx was stolen earlier this year from a Panel Shop and recovered 5 days later, with minor damage and a few accessories missing. So there's always hope!! I know how depressing it is. ALSO you might wanna put this in the VIC section as well....you'll get a better response there.
  4. GTRs or GTSTs? I know an importer who has a few left. PM me for details.
  5. lol feel sorry for ya if you don't park your car anywhere. You're wayyyyyyyyyy too paranoid. Where are you rippin out the "Wetsern suburbs this will happen, Eastern suburbs this will happen" from. Someone will steal your car/stuff inside your car from anywhere, they don't do it differnetly because they live in a different area. Take adequate precautions, but don't become some sort of mental patient...."they will come for my car...they will come for my car....they will come for my car" NOT. Relax. I mean this list is way too long and detailed for you to be a normal person....lol.
  6. If you have the RWC, they don't care. All they check is the VIN number and Engine number and Compliance plate. Most likely it will be some chick that needs help finding the engine number lol. Don't stress, they don't know much about the actual laws, specifically. So long as you have the RWC, you'll be alright.
  7. Man it depends on condition. If its got a good engine and good body/interior.....they are going for at least 22-23k. The 19-20k ones usually have bad engines, or rusty bodies..... Also, the 15yo import rule has now ended so the influx of these cars has stopped. Give it another 3 months i reckon and prices will go shooting up.
  8. Inside the car you have the meter showing torque going to the front wheels, just like a GTR. Also the GTS-4 sticker at the back lol. Other than that, they look virtually the same.
  9. lol. ouch.
  10. I love the impuls as well. I'm gonna get some for my 32 as soon as its back on the road. Chrome ofcourse.
  11. Broady/Thommo/Dandy are pretty bad, mates and I have all had bad experiences there. When it comes to systems etc, you can't do much (besides the detachable face head units, but still, they can steal your sub/amp etc.) But when it comes to car theft, all of you should get those detachable steering wheels (well not that actual steering wheel, the bit that connects the steering wheel to the car). Only way some1 can steal your car, is if they tow it. IMO it would be more effective than simply having an alarm. It's great for those of you that go to uni/work and have to leave your car for hours at a time!
  12. I had a black 34 GT-T. Nightmare to keep clean. As many of you have said, never again.
  13. haah where abouts in Pakistan did you go? There are some really good freeways there and nobody cares about the speed limit. Driving there was fun, no rules.
  14. Twin Turbo Supra, followed by the FD.

You can get them cheaper over the net. Check out the sponsors here and on nissansilivia.com. Some bargain out and about.
  16. The 34 GTR rims should cost me about $2000 landed, second hand. I could probably bargain the guy down further. Looks like ill go for them, i didn't really know anything about the "technology" behind the wheel. Are 34rims 18s or 19s?
  17. I'm tossing up between those rims, or R34 GTR rims. But i think these rims will go better with the car, since its purple.
  18. Does that include tyres? Or just the rims.
  19. HOw much do they cost? Tyres? Thanks.
  20. Yeah friend mechanic. Everything. He took about 2 hours. He even described the paint in detail etc.
  21. They were on bicycles? AND you pulled over?

Car is in excellent condition, mechanical inspection welcome. No TIME WASTERS. For 10k, you get the car with compliance, all you need to do is register it, as the first Australian owner. This car stands out from the crowd, that's for sure. Not many going around at all. Snaps heaps of necks. HE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE OR SWAP. HE NEEDS MONEY FAST. Be quick, don't expect this to last. 23. What sort of rims are those? They look hot as! I'm currently looking for some rims for my 32 GTR, want them on it before it gets out of the workshop!
  24. Yup. Well when i got my car tested, the mechanic charged me $150 to test the car completely, including compression/leakdown. 23k....yeah you could get a clean 89/90 model for that much. Also, don't be fussed about kms, lot of the cars are wound back anyway, u should be worried about condition. So if a car has 80,000kms but a crap engine, bad body and worn interior and another has about 120,000kms on the clock, but a healthy engine, straight body and nice interior, you'd obviously go the second car.
