  1. Haven't been eating properly due to working like a dog. I need to fix up my diet and get my passion back, I've still been training, just weights, no cardio, trying to maintain what I have, but my bodyfat has def. gone up due to poor diet. Good thing is the muscle is still there as I haven't lost strength. Bad thing is I now have a 36 inch waist to match lol. (I'm normally 34). Stick to the basics and slowly lose fat or try a quick fat-loss diet to see some quick progress for now...?
  2. Damn he has a clean shave! He also has the same motorcycle as me. I like this bloke.
  3. Personally I just shave with a Mach III Turbo. Have been using it since I can remember. I shave my neck and sides of my face and maintain a 'thin' beard/stubble type look. I use a Phillips trimmer and I've found it to be really good. Easy to use and no problems in the 2 years that I've owned it. I tried Wahl, I didn't like it because it didn't cut neatly.
  4. Oh nice. Just like a woman.
  5. They're underwritten by AAMI sure, but they trade as JCI. I'm sure they'd have been terrible in the event of an accident, but in terms of hail, it was literally, claim, show up for assessment, recieve money, buy back wreck.
  6. Is anyone insured with Progressive Direct? I've heard nothing but good things about them and I'm thinking of switching all my cars and my motorcycle over. I've also heard that Lumley are great and Allianz is decent. I've had a good experience with JCI (hail). And a terrible experience with AAMI (not at fault claim), they were shocking, avoid like the plague.
  7. You'll just need RWC and rego. Would be handy to have compliance paperwork, just in case, because Vicroads aren't the brightest bunch. You should be fine though.
  8. Best feeling looking at all the parts you've accumulated before they go into the car....:
  9. Not bad at all.
  10. Awesome! Will get a quote on repair of 2 rims and cost of spraying all gloss black (currently silver).
  11. lol. Pretty similar thing happened to a friend of mine. Repaired 1 rim at a cost of about 900 dollars, but a new rim would have been 1100. He didn't take it to small claims though. Agree with you re going to a reputable company. I've seen some pretty crappy jobs.
  12. Fair enough. Not too fussed anyway, more concerned about workmanship if anything. But don't want to find out that cost of repair equals (or almost equals) cost of new rim. (lol, has happened to someone I know before).
  13. Thanks mate. They look great. Do you know rough costs? As indicative pricing is not listed on their website: http://www.newaywheelrepairs.com.au/profile.html
  14. Hey guys, Does anyone know a trusted rim repairer in the western suburbs or near the CBD? My usual guy is on holiday....I need some slight gutter rash repaired.
  15. There have been cases where the courts have rendered a verbal exchange without a deposit binding, particularly so if a reliance is made based on a statement or portrayal of the seller. But as I said, it isn't practically applicable, albeit, theoretically possible in specific scenarios. I don't think anyone is arguing that the OP is legally in the wrong though...
  16. Technically (or theoretically rather) you can enter into a contract without a deposit being taken if the seller shows clear intention. Practically, it is almost impossible to prove until a deposit has been paid. I think the issue falls more within the ambit of an ethical/moral framework, as opposed to a legal framework. Put simply, when you tell a bloke something, you should stick by it. We are all prone to errors and make mistakes, I think we should leave this issue at that and hope that the OP learns from it and engages in better dealings moving forward.
  17. For a forum full of males we do love drama don't we. Okay, the OP made an error in judgement and went back on his word. This amounts to unethical behaviour. However, calling the OP names, rich kid, spoilt etc, is no better and for the most part is just as unethical. Let's all move on, is the car on the market or not? If it is, may the best bid win and hopefully the OP will conduct the transaction in an ethical manner this time.....

  19. Hi guys, I have for sale: Z-Tune style rear pods Z-Tune style side skirts. These are brand new and have been painted black to suit R34 GTR. I did not fit them, as they must be fitted to a stock R34 GTR kit and my car does not have a stock kit. So I just used the front bar. I purchased these from JSAI, rear pods were $200 and side skirts were $300, so $500 all up (as listed on the JSAI website). You can have them, painted, for $350. Located in Melbourne, Victoria. Call me on 0404 723 623, PM, or reply here. Thanks, Ali.
