    help no dereg paper

You need to (or someone) to chase up the authorities in Japan (that is if its legit)
  2. If I were you, I'd get a rebuild, especially if you wanna keep the car in the long run. This is because, you are certain that the engine will last you a while yet! Whereas, if you simply replace the engine (although it would work out cheaper) you don't know how long it will last, before it goes bang. Also, if you rebuild, you might as well upgrade internals. Negatives of a rebuild are, you won't have the car for a while, costs more, need to 'run-in' the engine.
  3. I don't know? It's from japan, maybe its old? Also, the grill (the one directly under the bonet, not the one in the front bumper, was put there in order for the car to look more like a GTR, as on the GTSTs, the bonet comes all the way down.
  4. I drive both an R32 GTR and R33 GTST, been pulled over MANY times, IT HAS NEVER COME UP. Mods always come up, but a lot of cops dont know much, or cant be stuffed. So relax.
  5. hehe I have this Top Gear vid, in which the guy claims that the brakes sometimes "explode" LOL!

  7. True, if I wanted to buy a performance car, i'd wanna give it a quick squirt, 0-100 maybe?
  8. haha yeah I can't wait. I just hope it runs well mechanically.....
  9. Whoops! Just realised I didn't post the pic with the brakes up.... Here it is:
  10. Dunno how, but was just looking at the pics again (as i do everyday) and from the pic that shows the rim, looks like it MAY have Brembo brakes as well!
  11. I don't think so man, when its been changed, its either etched in, or a sticker is placed near by, indicating that it has indeed been changed. Looks like a sticker saying that it has to be changed at 100,000km
  12. HELL NO! Sif you'd give a $500 deposit to drive a car, I'd go and buy another, straight out. I've sold a few cars, I've always let people take them for test drives, if you have half a brain, you can work out whether a buyer is serious or not (i got to the point where once I find out that a potential buyer is a time-waster, i literally park the car and leave) Time wasters will see more negative points than positive "thats dented, thats rough, whats' that" where as proper buyers will say stuff like "it goes well, little bit rough, but shouldnt be too hard to fix etc.......so try and identify proper buyers before hand..... If they damage the car.......well you take the money off them before you let them go, take them to an ATM, their parents, whatever.........if they still can't come up with the goods....I'll let you use your imagination
  13. It depends on what he wants himself. In terms of looks its purely subjective, some people can't stand the R33 shape, i.e Boxish, Sedan, others like the R32 shape coz its more aggressive, tougher looking, yet others will say it looks oldish. If he's thinking performance, then surely the GTR is a better base. If he wants a newer car, then the GTST s2 is a better choice, or an s15 maybe.
  14. Get both....yes I'm biased. If i had to choose between the two, I'd go the GTR for sure, more power, modification potential. GTST R33 is more spacious from inside, but i reckon it looks uglier than my 32. Plus GTST= RWD fun ALL the time (yes i know u can pull the fuse on GTRs) Also the 33 GTSTs are wayyyyyyyyy too common these days. What's that GTST got? It's pretty pricey.
  15. Yeah engine bay does look dusty, hand brake is def. poorly adjusted, maybe the bolt that holds it in place is loose? Yeah, def. has been raced, then again, so have a LOT of GTRs, especially the 89/90 ones that have come in......will probably need a bit of dosh to fix up some small bits n pieces.......i'm used to that though, as is the norm with GTR ownership. Meanwhile we're on the topic of GTRs being raced, I think my current one was raced as well, it came with a fancy belt mechanism, and some E (exit?) sticker lol.....hmmmm just thinking out aloud. Anyway, heres a pic that has both the racing belt and the E sticker for those who are interested!
  16. Hehe, thanks for the compliment!
  17. R34 GTR.......eventually, i've already decided that my first year of proper income will be spent on a car..... If the next Skyline is crap, then I'd got a WRX STi......
  18. Yep, that's why I managed to get an import approval.
  19. LoL its obvious when you concentrate.......I posted those pics at like 1.30am last night....there, that's my excuse
  20. Agreed......most people don't even know that Stagea's exist!
  21. Also considering that there is no System Head-Unit visible, and theres an amp.........where would it be? In the dash?
  22. Also....can't stand that seat! Prefer the standard one........so now I need a new drivers seat and rear seats.
