  1. I've seen 89 models with ABS........
  2. More pics, different angles:
  3. Thanks for the feedback guys!! I def. like the colour...makes my Gun Metal Grey one like rather bland.... Well i'm definantly getting it, as I recently got an import approval for 89 Nissan Skyline and 90 Mitsubishi GTO...........so can still import under the old rule, import approval is granted on these conditions: Section 20(1)(B) of the Motor Vehcile Standards Act, on the basis that the vehicle: -was manufactured before 1 January 1989; or -was manufactured before 1 January 1991; and -that you made a financial commitment and purchased the vehicle prior to 7 February 2005; -and the application to import was made before 1 January 2006: and - that the vehicle was 15 or more years old at the time of the application to import was made...... Yay!!!
  4. Hey guys, Attached are some pics of an R32 GTR still in Japan, just wondering if you guys can tell me about the goodies its got......particularly in the engine bay (those 2 long pipes...etc) also that metal piece in front of the FMIC connected to a hook like thing, and also the gadgets inside, rims etc Cheers, Ali [/img]
  5. It's coz working in the 300 engine bay is a mission.....far too congested.
  6. 15.8? Do you even know what a standard GTST runs?
  7. Only in NSW....... A non-turbo skyline isn't that fast, it's a 2.5L N/A in a heavy body, a celica would eat it, let alone a Holden.....
  8. Anyone?
  9. I've also driven both cars (my cousin has one (GTS-4) and used to own a GTST on Ls) I found that a normal GTST felt quite a bit quicker, significantly quicker in fact. But in terms of handling, the GTS-4 had better cornering capabilities, better grip, delivered power to the ground better, launches heaps better........and in the wet? Game over. I suppose that in terms of modifcations, the GTS-4 would be a better 'base' to work with, with better 0-100, 1/4 mile times.......on the track, it would come down to suspension setup, all things equal, the GTS-4 should come out trumps Although the GTS-4 handles better than a GTST, as you have said, you cannot compare it to a GTR! Different league altogether.
  10. I don't think you can say a GTST will outhandle a GTS-4! AWD= better handling. simple.
  11. GTS-4 has better handling, the GTST has better acceleration (rolling start ofcourse) as the AWD system weighs down the GTS-4.......but that also means that you get more power to the ground once modified......all comes down to whether you want AWD traction and handling, or RWD fun.
  12. A few people say that you don't need to warm up the car for too long (I certainly don't)....then what the hell are those Castrol Maganatec adds all about....I think they say "Upto 90% of Engine Wear occurs during the first 10 mins of driving" I guess the key word there is UPTO....meaning it could in fact be far less than 90%! Damn marketing techniques....
  13. Hey guys, After some parts for his GTS-4. I'm pretty sure most parts are the same as a normal GTST. Clear, Driver side indicator. Lower Control Arm, Passenger side (same as a GTR?) Passanger side Air Vent. Passenger side sun visor clips (the clips that holds it in place) Window Washer Nozzles (the ones that spray water on your windscreen) Rear Wiper ANy help will be much appreciated. Cheers.
  14. Between the R33 GTST and R32 GTST, i would def. go the R33 GTST. It's newer, and to me it felt A LOT quicker. Ofcourse the best option as many ppl have said, go the GTR
  15. I just got an import approval today GTO on the way........
  16. Really? What are the stock 180sx times (or power) compared to the R33? Would be close.....
  17. LoL damn that IS nasty.
  18. Yeah looks like his bumper actually caught on fire and he probably had to put it out.......lol, he got owned.
  19. Check out this pic i found on ns.com!!!! Nasty stuff. [/img]
  20. Let's say a jap car was tail-gaiting me (they usually don't, its usually holdens or fords or people annoying me on purpose, I won't get upset if they're old, a mother, or disabled. But that's it!) and I let out a flame, and miraculously, it also burnt the FMIC on this car, how in the hell would they get me to pay? Make me pull over? LoL
  21. Plus I hate tail-gaters, before I just used to stop the car, get out and start yelling, now I just give it a rev.......the look on their face, priceless.
  22. LoL! Errr....I have a flame kit, yeah that sounds good, a flame kit.
  23. R33 I reckon for looks, can't beat the Skyline tail lights. Although, 180sx look good as a package, more sleak. In terms of performance, i think standard, R33 would be slightly better, but a 180sx has better dollar for dollar modification potential. As everyone has summed up, both are great cars, really comes down to personal preference.
