I'd say go the SR20. Purely based on the fact, that it was actually designed FOR the 180sx. Although I've heard of ppl gettn ripper results after putting RB20's in em.

Firstly, if you search the forum you would have found your answer. This question has been asked many times but anyways.... 0-100 is in the 7s i'm pretty sure. You can beat the old v6 commodores, but not the new generations. v8's, you don't stand a chance. You can't get the turbo whistle, but with a pod the car does sound very nice. By the way I know this coz I had a R33 GTS on my L's.

Just the motor m8. The turbos seem to be fine. But u never know.

Yeah hopefully we'll see a big update in technology and hence greater output and even better performance. As we all know, the fundamentals of the latest R34 GTR, are almost exactly the same as the 89 release GTR 32. It's time for change.

Thanks mate. Oh right....so the engine probably isn't gone? I sure hope so. What's the solution to the problem? By the way the engine is very noisy, the sound is so loud that after 2 or 3 seconds i switch it back off, fearing the possiblity of more damage.

bro, The best one i could find was for $4600. So i'm looking for something less than that if possible. ALthough i'm not sure what condition of the engine will have on its price.

Hey Guys, The GTR is playing up. Anyways, when i start it, a loud banging noise sounds kinda like a truck, or lawnmower becomes apparent. I'm pretty sure my bottom end is gone :-S So am looking for a new engine. Anyone think it could be something else? Also, when I depress the clutch, a sort of hissing sounds becomes apparent, like some sort of gas is being released or something. I can't figure out what it could be. Am truly stumped, would appreciate any help I can get. Anyone have a spare GTR engine lying around???? hmmm. Cheers Guys.

Both are pretty even cars, it depends on mods. WRX has the AWD advantage, so theoretically should win stock, BUT, few WRX owners are willing to all out launch, given the sound reputation of WRX gearboxes :bs!: As performance is similar, it probably comes down to looks. In my opinion, u can't beat the Skyline tail lights. Alternatively, get a GTR

Neons look good on imports. Period. As i said, most young ppl like em. Older drivers don't. Every1 has their own opinion.

LoLz....most young people like neons. Generally, the older citizens of this nation do not appreciate them as much. Pehaps the "subcultural" group he is trying to gain the attention of are the youth of today, and not that of the older, more mature generation?
