No no, What I meant that this is not my GTR 32, that is registered and sitting in my garage. That is my OWN GTR! The one that I am selling is also mine, but a fresh import, so hasn't been registered before. No proxy.

Firstly am I ignorant, or are you afraid of the truth? Let's talk top of the range. HSV is Holden's top of the range vehicle. GTR is Nissan's top of the range vehicle. Stock on Stock any GTR will beat any HSV. That's a fact. ....oh yeah and most GTST's with a frontmount intercooler running a bit of extra boost will put most HSV's away....hardly anyone these days with a turbo skyline fits it with JUST a pod.

The guy in japan said that the car is in near-perfect condition, for a 1996 GTR. It has low kms as well....but not sure of the exact figure. Anyone know much the 96 GTRs are going for?

Hey Guys, I just need a little help with the latest GTR 33 prices (non V-spec) Is it more between 30-35 or 35-40? The reason is im importing a GTR 33 from Japan, for 16,000US (21,000 Australian FOB) then my additional costs will be compliance, registration, freight, logisitics and TAX. Is it worth it? Thanks.

Can the cops actually book you for a 'loud' BOV? not sure. I know they can def. get u for the BOV's that vent out into the atmosphere.

Sorry to say this, but there is little chance of your appeal being successful. Firstly, the policeman is always right. When the facts of a case are contested by the alleged offender, and the police officer, the magistrate will ALWAYS accept the cop's version of events, whether you like it or not. If the cop says you were negligent, you were negligent. Regarding the glasses.....well you should have been wearing them. No case there. LoL, the 'Asian' thing. You def. DO NOT want to bring that up, that will only lead to more trouble.... Sorry to say m8, the prospects don't look good.

When I had an r33 GTST, bone stock, bar exhaust and pod, I got defected for height (less than 10cm.) ON MY L's!!!! My dad was like right next to me (and hes in his 40s, so i def. wasnt speeding) The cops go out of their way to defect imports, its fun. Think about it, if you were a cop (that didnt own an import!), wouldn't you pull over nice imports? It how they get their satisfaction. So it's best to avoid them at all costs.

If you see a cop turn his lights on and floor it on the other side of the road, you should have pulled over in a side street, parked the car, and walk off casually as a passer by. They cant do anything then, and I doubt they'll wait for the owner. It's not about doing the right thing, its about the troubles. Save yourself time and money.

I think backfires are normal with turbo skylines. Also....i often see black smoke coming out the back of the boosted GTSTs.

Its fast enough, it still goes well. It should put all those cars u mentioned under. From memory I think the non-turbos were around 140-144kW.....can't remember. Im sure u'll be able to find the exact figures somewhere on this forum.
